I like it all, especially the mantel. The dining room paint change looks nice and autumn-y, but that deep blue popped and was rich and classy looking.

That floral arrangement you made on the dining table is EVERYTHING. Have to admit I thought that was where your guests would keep their water and I thought it was kind of awkward. LOL Not crazy about the little painting above the larger one. I also would like to see more open space on shelves and mantle; more vignettes, more pieces styled like 3 items of different height followed by empty space, maybe a large piece followed by empty space, followed by another uneven number of items in a range of heights. So glad you painted over that dark blue! Never cared for it, especially with the black chairs. Now the items on the shelf are popping, but with a little culling and styling will be sublime.

I just love your apartment! So many youtubers move to those really industrial lofts that look cool but also seem cold and uninviting. Your place is gorgeous and I love all the light and windows, the arched entryways. I can practically smell the fall scents of your candles through the screen. It's so warm and inviting. I love the new wall color! I think it’s so strong that you could take away half of the decor and still make a huge statement. The coffee table and mantle in the living room could also loose some things, books etc. I just think the colors and the wall decor and a few things around would give you a different yet polished look. Try it, what’s the worst that could happen… you put everything back.

I can't believe the color you chose, it's so beautiful and just the shades I've been debating on using in my living room. I live in a very old warehouse and most of the room is old brick except one area is more like cement. I'm wondering if this color would blend it all or be too much. A brown or red wall is daring... usually walls are white or off-white

@@mackenzie7517 maybe in modern design asthetic. But when I hear a "bold" or "daring" color, my mind goes to bright, near neon, colors or very deep colors. The Navy he covered I consider more daring than what he covered it with.

I think he called it 'daring' because it is close in colour to the hardwood flooring, so it could've ended up looking overwhelmingly brown.

I like the new dining room colour much more than the dark blue. It showcases the decor pieces more clearly, it's warmer and lighter and coordinates better with the rest of the dining room space as well as the living room. I'm not actually a fan of brown tones so you know you've chosen well and pulled it off if it looks good to a sceptic. 😊 Cosy and warm yet still light and spacious. Love everything except the dining room rug, particularly the maple leaves which look so perfect. A Persian style rug with some of the darker greens you use would be, I think, great in the dining room. Happy hosting!
