Hope this makes it clearer: I think what TSwan is saying is that to be authentic, you must accept ALL aspects of yourself - the part you're happy to show and the opposite that you hide. So if you think of yourself as 'an authentic person', then you must be rejecting the part of yourself that is 'inauthentic'. You will feel uncomfortable emotions when in contact with an 'inauthentic person' (and you may label this as 'I don't like them!'). Actually, your emotions are showing you that you need to be comfortable with the 'inauthentic' part of yourself that you hide from yourself.

When that woman said, "people run" ..that resonated so strongly. When you are constantly being told that "you are too intense, you are too complex, you are too THIS or THAT...etc" ...whenever you find the strength to finally open up to someone in all your vulnerability and sensitivity, they leave..simply abandon you, even in very cold ways, insulting you or belittling you, laughing at you... and go to someone who is more "fun" instead all the time ..but they simply neglect to show their vulnerable side and pretend to be fun.. At some point, when it happens again and again, you simply dont wanna open up anymore... I realized that many people dont want someone who is authentic around them, vulnerable and expresses all that..but someone who camouflages it and caters only to their damn needs instead or otherwise they take away their affection again which is a form of emotional blackmail and abuse......i m sick and tired of it.

I’ve always struggled with being disconnected from the people around me, since I can remember. In recent years I’ve watched your videos and Leo Gura and Abraham Hicks and it’s helped me in some areas of life. But I can’t help but feel disconnection everywhere and see it in people and it just makes me sad. I desperately wish to connect with people but most people are afraid of such a deep connection and they’re self conscious... and they don’t want to deal with their own emotions so it’s very, very difficult to truly connect with anyone. I get discouraged because I already know that despite my best efforts I haven’t had a best friend in years. I have had nothing but failed relationships because I try to connect but the guy I’m with will pull away or they don’t understand or care about these spiritual concepts. It sucks.

You have to understand one thing- people can say No to you and you need to respect that. Learn to respect when people say No and not get it personally. People don’t have to behave like you want them to, you just create connections who is willing and want to connect with you. Why are you trying to push people into relationships or friendship with you if they don’t want. You need to allow space and freedom for people to come to you, instead of you drugging them because you are desperate. When someone is like a light( happy, exciting, loving, interesting, purposeful) - right people are drawn to it, they WANT to be around you.

I truly am thankful of her. After listening to this video I realised why I categorise myself as an introvert when I enjoy company but hate being around people for long. My rationale was “I get drained”. But why am I getting drained? It is because when I am with people, I hide all those aspects that I disown and only bring out those aspects that are socially acceptable. My complete self is comprised of both aspects (light and dark), if I only choose to show the “light” I will always be sharing half of me… I realised why people misunderstand Teal. Her concepts are DEEP. If people only recognise the surface, they won’t realise the love deep down. They have to go down in the journey with her to see the light❤️

This psychological information is so good . I’ve studied a lot of psychology A lot of self help psychology Also a lot of professional therapists By far this is the best explanation of shame & splits & healing info. The live examples used on stage helps so much in ref to understanding it all. Thank you for sharing this wisdom- knowledge , info - Teal Swan. Bravo 👏

Yes, agreed 100%. I don't even see her much as a spiritual teacher but more of a very very insightful psychologist. Sometimes I feel like being on a couch with her.😂

Feels enlightening and healing. Spirits try hard to chase tails of external problems, but the way to approach problems are from the neglected inside.

And its contagious!🤣🤣 All giggles aside, this is such a powerful message and reminder for me to head in the direction of healing/opposite in my motherhood journey. I am hoping for more videos on educating(disciplining) children. Give me a "like" if you agree!

Had a moment of genuine connection with another human the other night, first in a long time. The guy ringing up my groceries asked out of habit, "How are you?" and I said, "Terrible. How are you?" and it jolted him out of his retail-induced coma and he looked startled and said, "I'm ok. But I'm glad you said that. I always just say I'm fine even when I'm not," and I replied, "Yeah, it can be hard to be honest." That's it, but it felt like we really saw each other as human beings for a moment. And now I find myself led to this amazing video, which is perfectly on-topic. I'm going to continue being more real. What do I have to lose?

You talk about the positive attribute to the energy Vampire archetype. My jaw dropped open! 😱 This is what my higherself and guides were showing me while I was watching The Vampire Diaries. I know that I’m a transmuter. This was amazing and soooo awesomely confirming to hear. Thank you Teal 💗

Ive heard here say that before, it definitely rings true, however, I cant understand conceptually. I think because I can't understand what it's like to be an energy vampire. Can you help me understand? (Its gotta be in me, if im so interested, or maybe I want to understand why people do that)
@lindsayleigh9846 жыл бұрын
Nikki Wolf 5555 (I love the numbers!) An Energy Vampire in the shadow is someone you feel very drained around. Their energy is very much, “it’s all about me and you really don’t matter. Let’s talk about me some more”. And when they leave you feel like you need a long nap. It’s all take and no give. A lot of empaths have energy Vampires in their lives to help them set boundaries.

I think I’m going to need to look up what you’re talking about, I’m fairly new to Teal Swan videos, I have watched most of TVD though. Are you talking about how the vampires turn off their humanity?

All women are beautiful, really. Teal found her mind and is that beauty men and women idolize. Don’t idolize Teal, just find that beauty in you, enjoy you and then share with the world as Teal has done. 🙏

For those of you interested in some more info Teal Swan basically explains the way modern psychotherapy works, Schema Therapy and Internal Family System approaches in particular. The easy book to read on the topic is Self-Therapy: A Step-By-Step Guide to Creating Wholeness and Healing Your Inner Child by Jay Earley.

It's great hearing this from a spiritual perspective. I'm reading a book on Gestalt Therapy right now, which says all the exact same things, except from a more clinical perspective. Glad the message is getting out! It validates a lot of beliefs I've held for years, and gives me hope for the future - at least a bit.

I found you after I heard about the documentary a few days ago. I didn’t see the documentary because I understand the nature of editing, but I did watch a few KZbin videos of critics of yours. Then, I wanted to see the Teal Swan herself. I obviously don’t know you, but what you’re saying is resonating with me and I see in the comments how you’ve helped so many. It kinda pisses me off, actually. Regardless of what you get out of it, if you’re helping people to help THEMSELVES, then you get a damn pass. We are all going though this human experience together and nobody is perfect…not even a guru. I mean, what are the critics expecting? Someone without human flaws? Get a grip and get off your soapbox. Keep doing you, Swan. I see you.

Thank you Teal. Now I know I'm on the Right path because I feel like crap more and more with everyday! Actually this is kind of true and I know why I feel crappy and that's the Thing. A few years ago I felt crappy sometimes and didn't at all know where it came from. Now I ironically choose to feel crappy in order to get Closer to the very Things I abandoned a Long time ago.

This brings deeper meaning to “love thy neighbor as thyself”. It opens up a flourishing understanding of what it truly is to love thyself. I can see how we can’t possibly truly love others until we know/love ourselves. If we can’t fully embrace our dual nature, or every aspect of ourselves (our fragments), the how can we truly ever embrace and love others? We’ve truly lost our connection with ourselves. Thankfully there are a handful Teachers on this earth, in this darkest hour, who are helping us go back to our souls. The broader spiritual community is just as lost as any other, in terms of practical solutions, over flowery rhetoric (not always completely without substance, but sorely lacking in solutions). Bless you, Teal. Sending much love. 🙏🏻🪷🤍🪷🙏🏻

Great video. In "other" languages, it is similar to "getting your chakras in alignment especially the throat chakra; meaning speak your truth without filter. Or more simply to live being more aware of your inner dialogue. "Why did I just react that way?" etc I totally agree with Miss Swan but get ready for some to definitely run from your gravitational pull. Here's to a grander golden world!
