Love this song but these guys are so nice! Just a lil story - me & my girls were in the airport coming back home from Orlando & they seen us struggling with our luggage & offered to help. We said no & when they walked off my youngest daughter said “mom I think those guys are famous!” While walking to our gate we figured out who they were & seen them sitting across fr us when we sit down. When my girls got up the nerve to say hi they were so friendly - took pictures with them & visited with them until our plane loaded. They were at the top of their career at the time & you would’ve never known they were famous. They gained lifelong fans with us. 😁

When my ex husband left me and our sons 17 years ago my boys were 2&1/2 and 1&1/2 years old and my oldest would always ask for his dad he was such a daddy’s boy this song would break my heart and I’d bawl like a baby. Even now 17 years later and I’m remarried this song gets me when I hear it. It doesn’t hurt me for me it hurts me for my sons cause they grew up with just me their dad moved half way across the country so they hardly ever seen him.

The last I knew they had a new lead singer he can't compare to the guy here. Don't know his name oh, but he got his start when he tried out as a dancer at Opryland which is been closed for many years now. But both he and the guy who actually got the dancing job were both in the group Lonestar. First they came out with the name Texasee which was a combination of Texas and Tennessee. Luckily it didn't stick and they selected Lonestar. I sure wish she he was back with the group. He's one of these guys who you know when you hear his voice. Definitely play "Amazed" if you haven't already. Or maybe play it again.
