this song is my hurt song. I lived a life of regrets. I've made my mistakes. I wish I could say I overcame. Remember a lesson is only worth something if you apply what you learn. To know something isn't always enough if there's no action. Peace and Love

I think maybe he knew. In the beginning she's flipping out on her dad and she stated he made him leave. My guess is they told her parents and the dad threw him out and he got in the car accident as he was leaving.

Love this song but it's so sad. Rascal Flatts have lots of great songs. Yes watch the video again. It will make sense.
@toddvandell856 жыл бұрын
MissyMaritza: I so totally agree with you. This is a very sad, very heartbreaking song, and this video just kills me every single time. I cannot get through it without tears. Cannot. And the vocals are just devastating. But I can admit it took me a couple times watching it, too, at first. Then you see him leave and see what happens and there she was, left alone without him, with only his memory to carry with her. And then right at the end, she saw his ghost. His memory still haunts her, and the memory of all those things she never got to say to him before his very untimely demise. So sad. So tragic. Love this video, love this song. Rascal Flatts has another heartbreaking song with another heartbreaking and occasionally puzzling video. You've seen it. The mother and the daughter, the father and the son, or maybe grandson? Another super sad, super heartbreaking song and it seems like a relationship ending song but the video seems to tell a bit of a different story. "Here Comes Goodbye." That's the one. Really sad song but the video just tells such a different story than I was expecting. Anyway. Such a sad song, indeed. Breaks my heart every time. Gary LeVox. Rascal Flatt's lead singer. What a voice. Great singer. Be interesting. Gary LeVox and Ronnie Dunn doing a duet together. A slow sad song like this one. Not one dry eye in the house. 😢😢😢

What Hurts the Most... Was Being So Close... Having So Much To Say And Watching You Walkaway.... the video to me is perfect. She was right there in his arms the closest you can get to another. Yet Never said all the things she wanted. He died without ever hearing the answer to the Q&A she started. Now she have to deal with all the memories without him there. Everywhere she goes in that little town is a precious spot the two of them may have. But like the lyrics she had to pretend like she's okay when she's actually dying inside from him not being.

Rascal Flats started as Christian singers and still remain so but also became huge Country stars that's had a couple songs crossover into pop, they can sing, and they are just great people too. I suggest two of their songs "Life is a Highway"(which you probably know but don't realize) And also a duet they did with Justin Beiber called "That Should Have Been Me"

Liked your reaction, dood, but definitely rewatch the video and maybe consider putting the video onscreen right when it starts. Hard to really gauge your reaction if we can't see what you're seeing. I don't know if that was on purpose that you didn't show the video from the beginning. Copyright issues with KZbin. Anyway. Good song. If you like this song, and you are quite correct, that dude Gary LeVox can sing, check out "Bless The Broken Road." Another great heartbreaking song, with a video that can be a little confusing the first time you watch it, too. It's another song that sounds lyrically like a break up song, but then you see the video that goes with the song and you're like...um...wait. That's not how I heard it but this video, it tells a really different story. But it will break your heart. Always breaks mine. Be great if you did a reaction video to it but even if you choose not to, check the song and the video out anyway. Will hit you hard, right in the heart. Thank me later. ;-)

@toddvandell856 жыл бұрын
@@planojag595 I'm with you on that. 90's country music had some of the best country songs and best country singers ever. Collin Raye is a big favorite of mine, John Michael Montgomery, Garth of course, Blackhawk for sure, adore George Ducas's great hit "Lipstick Promises" to death. That song never gets old for me. Joe Diffie for sure, Little Texas, Tracy Lawrence's "Texas Tornado" and we cannot leave out the heartbreaking Patty Loveless, or the late great Mindy McCready. And we can't forget Lonestar, where Richie McDonald got his start as their other lead vocalist along with John Rich, who got booted from Lonestar so Richie could become their primary lead singer. But, then we got Big & Rich saving horses by riding cowboys out of that deal, so not an entirely bad trade after all. :-) Trace Adkins for sure, and Shania Twain was a giant 90s country music superstar, too. If I remember correctly, Brad Paisley was just launching his stellar career in the 90s, as was Keith Urban first coming into prominence in the late 90s also, if memory serves. I miss Country Music Television but I'm so glad KZbin is here, keeping those great artists and great songs alive. Bryan White. Love him. Great singer. Great songs. Sammy Kershaw as well. Really good stuff. Cannot forget Travis Tritt. The 90s would not have been the same without Travis. Love Clint Black, too. If you don't already have a copy of the album Common Thread songs of The Eagles by 90s country stars? Get it. Fantastic. Clint Black's Desperado is a true heartbreaker and the great Vince Gill, another 90s superstar, does a brilliant take on "I Can't Tell You Why" that is just amazing. Even got the Eagles to do backing vocals with Vince on the song. They showed up in the video, too, if memory serves. And Hank Williams Jr. Bocephus. And Brooks & Dunn just dominated the charts back then and Reba McEntire was not doing too badly herself that decade. Far too many great ones in that decade that's for sure.
