What happens to old Formula D cars? "1000 HP TOO QUIET"

@natehamilton144 was kind enough to show us around his old Enjuku Racing S13 Formula D car. This iconic driver and car package inspired so many young drivers to take the plunge into drifting over the years, he was so personable and approachable compared to a lot of other drivers. He also was an early adopter of the V8 turbo 240sx platform, and I was very interested in why he pulled it all apart and went back to a naturally aspirated setup. It isn't often you come across retired Formula Drift and D1GP cars in the wild ( although somehow it is really common for me lol )!

I was blown away when I found it 2 years ago how those productions looked like! But can't understand why so underrated...at the 'new' beginning last year he had amount of views not a lot more then my 'missile' channel 😂 that makes no sens in comparison what is the difference in the 'inside' of the content...

Depending on the turbo, some turbos do act like mufflers, however with a larger turbine wheel and larger runners, you can make a turbo car very loud. In my experience, seems like the less blades a turbine wheel has the quieter it is.

Well i had written a long as response but got taken down probably because it had an Instagram link to a video review, but if you want to know why, you should sit down with josiah the owner, he is pretty open to conversation of why he builds his stuff the way he builds them, In short just their schassis design is awesome compared to the wisefab, two piece lca vs one piece, has a slotted tension arm bolt where it mounts to lca, this helps when smashing into a wall the tension arm will compress and save your subframe, and only have the tension arm to replace, Nice silver finish, not a tacky blue, Is an open design knuckle unlike the wisefab that has an enclosed design, had a buddy remove the bolt that connects to the lca and had rust and water come out, can’t happen with the fdf, the geometry is great, has easy to swap out ackerman adjustments, the topplate has caster slots so you just unbolt the 3 topplate bolts a bit and swivel the shock to desired caster, is made of a thicker metal than wisefab and is stronger, drift hq has probably more instock than anyone in the world including fdf’s shop lol, their new fdf alloy is light and stronger that chromoly but has more flex incase of a accident the arm will flex back vs wisefab you crash you need a complete lca that has the tension arm as a one piece design, they have a whole lot of videos you can check out or like i said talk to josiah, im sure he’s be down, or even magic mike pollard who was bug wisefab driver had 7kits and tried and fdf and sold them all Not saying wisefab sucks, but I prefer fdf if i had the choice, I have an fdf on my car
