Hey house lovers and explorers! Today`s video is another rural explore of an old tin clad farm house.
Quite unique to find the tin ones out in the rural areas as most of farms used stone to build their houses. This one has been abandoned a long time and has many old item left behind including some things that have been stored there. Seems like long time owners never upgraded anything after the 50`s even the old farm machinery still sit positioned around the home left where they were last used. An old log built work shed still stands with old things inside also.
I really enjoyed this one so I hope you all do too. Cheers for watching :-)

Thank you Paul, one year ending and another beginning. I look forward to many more adventures along the way with you and the other viewers. I remember those bed frames with the kapok mattresses as a child. The wringer washing machines brings back memories of me using them before I had enough and brought a gentle annie my first washing machine that saved me time lol. Happy 2024 everyone :)

Hey Paul. Really love the rural farm houses you find. They are so full of character and beauty. Dont they say necessity is the mother of invention. These tough people used every piece of machinery invented to do the work that needed to be done on their farms to supply cities with what they needed to survive. The backbone of our country. Again. Thanks. And looking forward to the next video. Happy New Year.

Adventures & things with wings. Broody peacock last time now it's owls. I'm always watching for a random snake or at least a blue tongue. Anyhoo, all critters aside, another great find. Nanna had an old washer/wringer similar to that in the outside laundry at the farm, called it a copper. The old pit dunny was right next door to it. Before the pit it was the pan & they used to put a broomstick thru the handle & go bury it away from the house. Once the stick snapped & there was a poop accident with much squawking. Ruined nannas best dressing gown LOL

Nice place. Aren’t those metal houses hot as an oven in the summer? They never seem to have much insulation in these places. Evidently those old wringer washers do a pretty good job of cleaning the clothes, sometimes better than these high efficiency machines you have now. I saw a guy who can get all the laundry for a family of 4 washed and hung out to dry in an hour and a half. It takes my machine over an hour to do one load. Most log buildings here in the states have the logs going horizontally instead of vertical like that but I can see using them that way if you don’t have long logs.
