Excellent! Haven't seen your lessons. Explained nicely.. Camera angles great (you mercifully show the "nut" of the guitar for reference. Other guys destroy their whole lesson by not doing so). Bravo! Great job.

This is the most accurate lesson I've seen of this song, all notes are correct. If I may make just one suggestion, when hammering on the third note of the intro, try using your index finger and use it as an anchor for your hand, letting the note ring out until it is played again. The second, third and fourth fingers can play out the notes on the D string until the third finger lands on the third fret of the sixth string. This will be harder for beginners, but it is a good exercise and it is a truer sound to the way it was recorded. Keep up the great work.

Even though the song was inspired by CCR, the choppy writing style of the guitar always reminded me of Marc Bolan's guitar signature. It sure is a great bit of music along with the great vocal work by Alan Clarke.

Now I can't stop playing this. It was suggested for me. Great lesson for a great song! I printed out the lyrics and sing along using lots of reverb on the vocals. Really fun song to sing and play at the same time. Not too hard like some.
@sbrown8884 жыл бұрын
Great lesson. In the original song, listen closely to the rhythm when it starts. In addition to the B, Bf, and D, you'll hear a higher E, F#, and G as well. But it's pretty subtle. I can't figure out if the same guy is hitting the 4th string on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th frets as well, or if it's a different player. It might be one of the other guitarists because when the drums come in, there is a higher rhythm part that comes in.
