Hi Harvey! I also have long covid and been sick since the beginning of last year. I just found your channel and am glad to see you post another video. Thanks for all the advice and always sharing your experience with us. I got a good laugh when you kept showing the one guy hang gliding.

Noooooo, it's actually a brilliant video, don't take it away!!! If only I could overcome all this shit like you, with sarcasm and a bit of will, I could be saved... I relate with all your feelings here in this video. It seems like a kind of self-psychotherapy, I think...

I think you’re way to hard on yourself about the video! Honestly, it helps to know that someone is going through the exact same struggles as I am. I just want off this bloody roller coaster 😩. Just wanted to say thanks for reminding me to be more consistent with things like meditation. I’ve never tried fasting.. I guess I should. Anyway.. please keep posting videos when you feel like it. I laughed out loud a few times.. and I needed that! Sending you best wishes on your recovery!

It's weird, because I feel like you're absolutely on the winning path and you're almost there, but somehow you don't realize it xD once your mind finally does, I think your body/nervous system is going to go along with it, do you know what I mean ? But that's me from the outside making that call, so it's easy to say. Respect and thanks for the update video brother !

I haven’t tried fasting. How many hs of fasting do you do? How long until you see a difference? Did it help with PEM and fatigue specifically?
@harveydann7015 Жыл бұрын
I think fasting is one of the most effective practices for me. It gives my nervous system the break it needs to help it calm down and find balance again. I feel it helps my body use energy elsewhere

Harvey, how often and how long do you fast for? Can you drink coffe and or water? How long do you do the breath work for? And how long for cold shower? I used to take cold showers and i need to get back into that!
@harveydann7015 Жыл бұрын
Hey, so I have found the best results when I get up and have a cold shower straight away. Then complete 10 minutes of wim Hof breathing (there’s a guided video on KZbin) then I sit and meditate for however long I can manage. Best to start eating around 2pm until 6pm and then don’t eat until 2pm next day. Keep doing little 30 second versions of wim Hof method throughout the day, I can feel how much it is bringing my nervous system back in balance with the pulsating feeling that accompanies the breathing exercises. It gets less intense day by day. Then hit a full 10 minutes again before bed. Stay off screens an hour before sleep and just keep repeating that every day.

Just water and electrolytes whilst not eating. No coffee no way. 🙅♂️ too stimulating.

@harveydann7015 thanks Dan! I'll give it a try. I have been doing a bit of fasting recently. I stop eating at 10pm until 12pm the following day. 14 hours, which isn't terrible but I want to extend it if I can. I'd like to get to 16 or 18 hours+. I'd also like to do an extended 24 or 48 hour fast as well. Will see how that goes. Thanks for your help. Hope you continue to recover, pal.

@harveydann7015 I've been doing 16-18 hour fasting for 1.5 weeks now. Last weekend I even went as long as 21 or 22 hours. I didn't feel great for Bout 3 or 4 days but kept doing it. I don't feel too bad now, though. I'll keep doing this and hopefully it will help...even a bit. I wouldn't mind losing 10 or 12 lbs too haha.

How many percent you recover?
@harveydann7015 Жыл бұрын
Hard to say mate. Seeing as I’ve gone backwards from about 95 percent. Id say about 75 right now. But i make progress much quicker now I know what I have to do.

Hope you are doing well bud. I’m a month into LDN which has been the only thing to get me to 70 percent. Have you tried it yet?
@harveydann7015 Жыл бұрын
I have not. I feel I’m on the right path but may check it out if I have trouble making progress

Great! Do you know you can get a kit to repair your windshield at an auto parts store for about 15$. Simply follow the instructions, do it and it's fixed!

Try doing a 36hr dry fast mate, I feel fantastic now... got to do a few but it has been THE game changer. Deeper level of shit clearing than water fasting 👍
@multiversomental6893 Жыл бұрын
Did it help you specifically with fatigue and weakness? How long did you do it until you saw improvements?
@multiversomental6893 Жыл бұрын
The one time i tried 18hs i felt i was dying haha
@domcowley5818 Жыл бұрын
Yes it's helped with fatigue but also helped shift a lot of brain fog. Probably took a few days after refeeding to feel good
@ManTimeT.V. Жыл бұрын
Do you keep having to do these 36 hour fasts? Or how often do you need to do them? How long after does it make you feel a bit better?
