I'm in a long-distance relationship myself, two years going strong, and it's videos like these that really hit home. It's sometimes difficult to manage, and you can easily be overwhelmed by loneliness, or jealousy of your partner's friends being able to so easily hang out with them while you're hundreds or thousands of miles away. But it helps you realize it's the little things, such as the texts and calls, which really make the distance feel shorter.

People would ask: Why does God make suffering? But He doesn't. Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because they wanted to be their own God. So do we. We go about our lives in rebellion against God. Look at our world. The beauty. And the overwhelming suffering. It's due to our free will being used to rebel against God. Since we try to be God, our world is messed up and fallen. But, God still loves us, so he made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. If we would just turn and give ourselves to Jesus, we would receive the Holy Spirit that would lead us to want to do good and not want sin anymore. It'll break the desire for rebellion. Jesus suffered for our sins and offers our debt completely paid through Him, if we would just humble ourselves and agree that us rebelling is wrong. If we don't, we continue to cause suffering and will be given justice for every sin on judgement day. Eternal punishment is terrifying, yet we chose it. We must repent(agree with God that sin is bad and turn from our sins) and have faith in Jesus. Not ourselves.

I can't tell you guys how happy I am to read all of these comments, I'm also in a LDR and reading the comments made me feel better, knowing so many people are in my situation with hope. I haven’t seen my boyfriend since January 2020 thanks to this pandemic and it's killing us. I had a GF who is also in LDR. it was my fault for being needy because she had to work and study at the same time when she left for japan. I wait for her messages everyday but I was not patient enough, I one day told her that we should talk about the situation. told her that we can try talking more on the weekends. but she sent me a message saying I am sorry for neglecting you I dont know if I can fill your heart with my love. she wanted to take a step back and give each other some space. I accepted because she had trouble looking for herself and she was lost at life so it was the only way I could help her. its been 5 months and we communicate but it is not the same as when we fell in love with each other. I still love her but im sure she fell out of love of me. My advice for you LDR people, if you are on an LDR with your other and they have not replied early try your best to be patient dont think that they are cheating on you or anything thats the first thing that can come to anyones mind. trust them fully even if you dont know what happens because that trust will always stay in anyones relationship it can be rewarding or painful but keep being patient because time will tell what happens and you just have to enjoy those happy days together as much as possible.

I'm 6 months into a long distance relationship and all of these comments make me so happy and hopeful. It's very hard spending the honeymoon phase in the distance, but I treasure every text message and every videocall, even if not more than if we were in person. Also, the feeling of reuniting, hugging again, touching again, etc. is always priceless. Missing him does get painful sometimes, but I think couples that live in the same place will never get to experience the connection and excitement that LDR relationships have (no hate, every relationship can be beautiful, it's just different!). I feel like we just treasure our time together even more, because we know we only have a limited amount of time to enjoy and be together before we separate again. I can't wait to see him again in 24 days, this video made me even more excited :)

Long story short we were cautious and young and foolish lol. If there's a reason he's cautious I think that that's something for yall to figure out together!! Really glad for the ones who managed to get together after being apart for a long time. When there's a will, there's a way. I decided to stop my LDR as he was only talking and never did anything, millions of obstacles prevented him from taking actions. Appreciate and admire the men who couldn't fall asleep without hearing your voice, the ones who found ways to send you flowers and little gifts, who were loyal and faithful to you, the ones who knocked on your door one day and did everything to be with you. Sincerely admirable... My parents were dating long distance for five years until they got married (they are still together). They called each other every day by pay phone and sent handwritten letters to each other monthly. When he could, my dad would travel by train or bus to visit my mom (he usually stayed for a weekend because he had to go back to work). I'm going to have to go through a long distance relationship with my boyfriend later this year. When I heard the news it absolutely crushed me, thinking that I would have to say goodbye much sooner, not getting to do so many things I had planned for us this summer. I feared that he would want to break up with me because there seems to be so many people that think long distance relationships don't work, but I'm grateful to have someone who wants to stay with me as much as I want to stay with him :) It will only be for about a year, but I know it will be hard. Hey, i was in a ldr 2018-2019 and it worked out ☺️ Sometimes it was very difficult. There were times I missed him a looooot and there were times it was better. You two can make it 🥰🥰 We phoned at least once a week and texted each other in the morgen and the evening. I think that was really important, we told each other how our day was or how we slept. ☺️ Don't be too sad, I know it's crap and I was so glad when he was back (he was in the US) but you can make it 🥰 Maybe you can find a new hobby (like bouldering ☺️), try new things out you always wanted to do. Your amazing and definitely stronger than you think 🥰

I really found this channel at the right moment, it's been a month I had to come back to my country and left my boyfriend at the other side of the world. I've never been in a long distance relationship myself, but after reading many comments here i see it must be very hard. Love is the strongest hope you can get, so don't give up on your person, even on the toughest days. I'm telling you, they will be worth it and so will all of the struggles. Because of what you went through together, your will be so close despite the distance. It'd be a shame to throw away due to that reason, when it makes your love even more meaningful. The world is such a big place, there are too many people for you to settle on someone because they live near. It's going to get better, I promise. This video is somewhat close to my very own LDR story. My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for one and a half year now. He works abroad, particularly in Papua New Guinea, as a site engineer just like the girl in the vid, and I'm here at Ph. We are so lucky to only have a 2-hour time difference. Sometimes, he's already having his lunch while I'm having my breakfast. Most of the time, we'll only talk to each other at night since cellular load in PNG is quite expensive so he's using the free wifi of the place he's staying at. I really missed him a lot. His friend is going home this 15th of June, and I cant help but feel quite down cause his contract will not end til the 4th quarter of next year. I really hope this pandemic ends so he can spend his vacation here in the Philippines, with me. So many times and memories were missed. Even our afternoon walks, our simple dates at 7/11, our bus rides, and just looking at him while we are eating. I missed all of them. Sometimes, I dream of him that he's home and it pains me to wake in the morning to find out that it was just a dream. I really cant wait to see him. This distance, though was a big challenge, has developed our committment with each other. I pray that we will never be apart again after his employment contract.
