I have a long distance relationship for 12 months but fortunately my partner has always made the effort to visit when work allows. We text every day and talk at least twice a day. His coming back home to the city where I live in several weeks. I won't say it was easy ...at times it was absolutely deathly hard.

I totally understand why men a very cautious after losing everything in there first marriage. It would be an awful painful thing to happen to anyone..man or woman. I would have a pre nup if he really wanted it especially for the first few years . It's cruel to take from men if you don't deserve it. Off course there are all different circumstances . Best to try reassure your partner as much as you can. That's all you can do .
