Cool, I just use this technique with the wifi connectivity with my phone using the bulb mode, made a super long exposure, really cool stuff, thanks Paul

what camera model did you use for this shot? I have a preety old lumix fz35 from 2010 and im looking to get a new model since I have seen newer cameras that do a much better job with suita like this.

Nice video but for long exposure shots like this I would use a remote control.

Hi Ray, firstly because the camera is on the tripod, it is not required. But the main reason is that the camera does not know when it’s on a tripod, so with IS turned on it will be trying to counteract movement that isn’t there, in doing this it can actually cause vibrations that will soften the image.
