If it was me that would have gone back to the suppler and ask them to replace it,badly put together at the manufacturer. Your box if you don’t me saying me I would rather have a buzzer or some form of notification to tell you when your with in gear speed and do it manually. I am enjoying your build been an car and bike guy / mechanic my self cheers and good luck.

Unfortunately I bought it second hand but it was not installed or used at all... obviously since I had to finish assembly on the wiring harness.

Nice save! Who would have looked in there? My unit did not even work out of the box, had to send it back. It’s a good system but poor assembly quality.

I'll be disassembling and checking the while system... probably tonight.

If I were you I'd take the whole unit apart. I they weren't careful with what you can see what about what you can't see? Good luck.

I very well may do that. It's not going back to the hangar till this weekend so I can do it in the evening. Maybe I'll do it tonight and video it.

@@JP_Flys Curious what the tooth count is on the two pulleys, also where is the slip clutch on this new motorhead he is building?

@chrissibush7617 I don't know and, if I didn't put it in the plane a few hours ago, I'd gladly count and tell you. I'm about to start editing a new video and will have it uploaded tonight.
