You continue keeping your long hair but be assured that you worship gods and not Jehovah. Jehovah knows even the nature itself teaches that long hair on a man is a disgrace, but on a woman it's a thing of beauty. Now what's yours for? When God sees it as a disgrace know that it's a sin. Corinthians 11:16 says the church of God has no other custom. I would say unless you are in any other denomination where you can sing the kind of music you sing.

To their convenience today they fallow Old Testament if it goes with their doctrine and the next day it's new Testament! Really, I just don't understand how people can't see the obvious things!? @@GoWithJesus Very good observation. Non Jews males under Roman Hellenist rule did not have the costume of having long hair(below shoulder level). Apparently this letter of Paul is directed to communities where permissive indiscreet social behavior was rampant. It is very rare that Paul had to admonish a whole gentile Christian community about hair length! Also tattoos and other corporal markings were rampant in these communities. Christian converts fought with these gentile costumes for decades during the first 200 years of the Church. Hair length was not an issue in Jewish community as males usually had hair at neck level. Having short hair and no facial hair was a gentile costume. Again, males with hair at neck level was no considered long hair!

I agree with what you have brought in your video. I had long hair for more than half of my life. Enjoyed it and thought it was a good look for me. Even thought I got to say there were times where my hair was so long that it kind of made me feel like it gabe me a femenine look so I would simply cut it shorter. Upon learning scripture I understood that Abba Yah wants his men to look like men and his women to look like women. I agree that it all would line up with culture. In my view a d the way that I feel. Long hair and I mean pass the shoulders while its beeing used loose makes a woman look beautiful. I have ran into many men with long loose hair and my first impression is that its a woman until I see their face. At this time of life I have short hair, let it grow a bit and when it simply feels a bit long like to where it can be tied up in a bun I simply cut it. Like I said, I teuly believe that Abba Yah likes his men to look like men and rhis is my personal conviction. As for the nazarite vow, well thats just it, its for the sole purpose of a vow. If you want to wear long long hair and wave it in the air and you feel good an manly doing so, well go for it as I don't see anything in the torah that forbids it. Just be fully convinced in your mind. Shalom

Thankyou. I'm a Christian with long hair and reading Paul's statement brought me here. I felt it surely could not be God's law to mandate short hair- I'd never heard that anywhere else in the Bible, and my own heart tells me it's natural and good to wear long hair. I think you're right, Paul was referring to the culture of the time. If the culture of the time dictated that long hair = womanly, then a man's God-given manly nature would indeed tell him not to grow it long. I think he was truthfully saying, a man should know by his own nature what is and isn't graceful according to his culture's distinctions between men's and women's appearance. Today there is no such cultural definition around hair, and at 6'5 and 240lbs I definitely don't look girly! If anything, in the European cultural heritage that I naturally reference, long hair is quite masculine and therefore graceful. Paul's statement then was the equivalent of something like telling men not to wear lipstick today (as there are men who do); lipstick does have a cultural gender today (feminine), even though nothing about lipstick is 'natural' or, if you think about it, inherently 'womanly' in and of itself, any Godly man's nature still makes it obvious to him not to wear lipstick because of its cultural significance as a feminine thing.

Do you have a beard n did you shave all your hair including the eyebrows? Then you must not cut any hairs on you at all after that until you end your vow and then you cut the hair n not the beards. They all had beards. Today the culture is to accept men dressing like women, so do we go by culture or what the Bible says? Do NOT have Any thing that pertaineth to looking like a women is what the Bible says. The locust that sting for 5 months in Revelation has long hair AS A WOMAN. Not a man! Messiah never changes with the times. 1 Corinthians 10 ; Hebrews 3 & 4 shows He, Our Messiah was the man seen face to face (translated badly to angel of the Lord) in the OT ; see also Judges 13. 1 John 2 and John 3:36 Paul took Nazarite vows of Torah in the NT , Constantine is who ended the animal sacrifices in the 300’s. They only needed an alter for sacrifice n not a temple. satan has brainwashed all of the nations. Him n his family but Mt Sinai inside of Egypt n the Bible says it’s outside of Egypt in Saudi Arabia, Also where they are putting Neom according to the end days in Daniel 11:45 n likely also Rev 17 and 18. Constantine also ended n changed the Holy days of Lev 23 to pagan holidays that should not be accepted n celebrated today. Not even a birth is celebrated in the Bible except for the pagans celebrating self. His Holy days depict His plan of salvation n marriage covenant to His bride. In Acts 20 they are counting the 7 sabbaths from unleavened bread to Pentecost. They are not changing the sabbath to a pagan Gregorian calendar. They were doing the crescent moon biblical calendar for the moeds( Lev 23 Holy Days) as per Gen 1:14 We must study n seek to show ourselves approved unto YHWH, a workman that will not be ashamed at the resurrection. Seek Him only n Not man nor what we want or we are doomed, He rejects the lawless n lukewarm but too many don’t believe this or see the full impact of this. Much Shalom( completeness, perfectness and wholeness) who’s circumcised minds and hearts are continuously on Him!

Samson was a Nazarite, not a Jew. He was following the Nazarite law. Jewish men were to cut their hair. The vow they made with their hair was for God alone. The Jewish vow was for their heads to be shaven. They are two different cultures. God’s people were expected to keep Jewish law, and Nazarites were to keep Nazarite law. Samson had to obey the same law his mother did. God told his mother before he was born to continue in that Nazarite law because they were not Jews. Paul mentions that a woman’s hair is given to her (from God) as a covering. Women need their head covered because it’s her glory and for the angels. The man is the head of the woman, therefore his head should not be covered and the woman’s head should be covered. A wonderful example is 1 Corinthians 11:14-15 “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.” (You even shared this scripture, yet you seemed to overlook the part where it said long hair is a shame to a man.) Men naturally lose hair before women do. God designed us that way. Men develop more testosterone than women which causes them to lose hair at an older age before a woman do. It is shameful for a woman to not have hair. (Medical conditions are excluded. If a woman has no hair, she needs a covering on her head to substitute the loss of hair) Nature alone teaches us that it is more natural for a woman to have uncut hair than for a man. Paul teaches that this is a natural occurrence that men have short hair as opposed to women. It is visible in nature itself because of how men lose their hair. Hair is given as a covering for women, which men are to cut off themselves. These however are holiness standards to those who have been born again already (according to Acts 2:38). I am not shaming anybody who doesn’t live by these holiness standards, but I am just sharing what the Scriptures say. God’s people (the Jews) we’re under a much different law than the Nazarites. But now that we live after Jesus has risen, there is a new covenant. The word of course does say we cannot add or take away from God‘s word, but it is a fact that God said He would make a new covenant that would be for all people; not just the Jews. (Jeremiah 31:31-34, prophecy fulfillment in Hebrews 8:8, 12:24) The old covenant is circumcision and the new covenant is baptism. There are many more things we need to do to live a holy life. This is why we need the Holy Ghost to guide us. We cannot please God without faith. The epistles were written to churches that were already saved, yet struggling in faith and holiness and needed instruction on how to continue in the faith and obedience to the holiness of God. I know this was a mouthful that I shared and there is so much more, but I hope I can share more with you and I hope you can dive deeper into God‘s word and get to know Him more. God bless you, in Jesus name.

Wonderfully done and I appreciated the cultural insight, but let us not miss the forest because of the trees. The main point is important: Note how Paul was respecting the culture of the day, or allowing his faith to integrate within the culture of the day, the culture of Rome or Greece. To the Romans he became like a Roman, and to the Jew he became as Jew. While it is correct that we cannot correctly use the Scriptures to justify long or short hair, too many today do not respect what is considered acceptable in the culture and would rather be noticed by a different haircut, a tattoo or a piercing (rather than be notice for a godly character). In other words, the Bible does not tell us to wear our hair a certain length but it does tell us to respect the local culture. I work in a part of Africa where long hair on a man is frowned upon. But it is disappointing to see young westerners come to Africa as short-term missionaries but do not respect the culture. Young men come with long hair, girls with tattoos and piercings but all this is distracting and not something the people of this African country benefit from, nor do they appreciate it. It is detrimental to the work they want to come and do. Likewise, if your parents, employers or others do not appreciate your long hair, are we honoring them if we do other than what they feel is respectable? So does this bring us back to square one, meaning that we can scrutinize someone for their long hair if that is not what the culture expects? Yes, in a way it does. We cannot use the Bible to tell you how to cut your hair but one must ask, why am I doing things to my outward appearance so that people notice me? Is it a help or a hindrance to the witness of Christ in me? In summary, the life Christ calls us to is to lay down what we want and "… become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel…" 1 Cor 9:22

I completely agree with you. If the culture as a whole will be offended or confused by a hairstyle, it’s better to cut it so as to not make anyone stumble from receiving the gospel. It depends. I am a South African. In SA, long hair is not an issue. But in some other places, it will be.

First, let me say that, rightly or wrongly, I neither judge nor condemn you or any man for wearing long hair. BUT, while I CERTAINLY see (as you do) that God not only sanctions but mandates the growing out of hair *as a mark* of one under a vow, the assertion by some that He is for OR opposed to men wearing long hair all the time, in every place, and in every culture is speaking falsely for God. (I'm still watching (~17-min mark) and will definitely watch the head-coverings series.) The text reads: “Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.” As I understand it, this passage could be reworded, or Paul essentially says: “CORINTHIANS!, don't human beings-- via customs, norms, etc., TO INCLUDE the length of hair-- instinctively distinguish between the sexes?" (Now, I think- fascinatingly!- that this could be extended to “nature”/creation because while it is the MALE lion that grows a glorious mane, THIS DISTINGUISHES him from the mane-LESS female lioness. We observe the same thing in birds, where the plumage of the male tends to be more brightly colored or elaborate … horns on male livestock … etc. It’s not across the board, but I’m sure you get my meaning: The point is more DISTINCTION, not hair. Paul uses hair for the present context; he could not do so if long hair was common in this cultural context for men AND women. In other words, BECAUSE God sanctions hair growth for the man WHILE he is under a vow, his long hair is a sign that something UNusual, EXTRAordinary, out-of-the norm/’ABnormal’, special is going on. I think we reach too far to say that long hair on men is ALWAYS or NEVER okay. Does that make sense? In a culture where long hair was/is permitted/acceptable/common for all men all the time, the man under the Nazarite Vow would *not* stand out or be set apart *at all* (not by the length of his hair anyway). You see? The EXCEPTIONS-- mourning; health; special sanctity ( *LIKE the Nazarite Vow* )-- ONLY serve to PROVE the general rule and natural tendency to distinguish between the sexes in diverse ways, including hair. I think handling this verse in such a way as to try to disarm it for use against men wearing long hair *unnecessarily* complicates the passage and confuses what is otherwise clear. Paul is speaking to a specific people, about a specific issue, relying on specific customs, for that specific time and place. God, in His wisdom, does *not* speak *specifically* about this (hair) in any *cultural* sense but only as it relates to the exceptions that I listed in the previous paragraph, so neither should we. Rather, He (no doubt understanding norms are diverse) simply commands that there always BE a DIFFERENTIATION. So, no, PD is not in violation of YHVH’s Word by wearing his hair the way he does. If he starts being mistaken for a woman, lol … thennnnn maybe Bro PD should revisit the matter, but otherwise, he does not violate God’s Word. I know this comment is long already, lol, but if you’d indulge me, allow me to submit two last items that I think brilliantly “tie up” the matter: “It is against nature in a proper sense, to bow down before an idol, because it is against nature to adore an idol; and bowing down, by universal custom, is used to denote adoration; but if bowing down by universal custom WERE USED TO [emphasis mine] denote contempt, it would NOT [emphasis mine] be against nature.” (The Works of Jonathan Edwards, II:800) “Did nature teach the Corinthians that if a man wears long hair, it is a disgrace for him? Yes, it did. Nature did BECAUSE [emphasis mine] the God-designed, healthy male soul revolts against clothing himself in *symbols of femininity,* just like the God-designed, healthy female soul revolts against presenting herself as a man.” (J. Piper)

I don't think I can agree with the use of Samson's case, as the Lord Himself commanded his hair never be cut as He designated that Samson would be a Nazarite. I can't imagine that His decision to create this position, role or identity of the Nazarite is His "OKAY" for men to leave their hair long. For as the wearing of men's clothing would clearly show us a man, as this is nature. This also, seeing someone from their back, with long hair, it is natural for one to assume it is a woman, as it is natural for women to have long hair. Forgive me, brother, but I cannot agree with this one.

Samson was not the only one. The nazarite vow could be taken by anyone who desired it, even Paul took a nazarite vow (not cutting his hair included). Therefore if it could be done by choice, and God permitted it, even encouraged it, then He obviously doesn’t have a problem with the long hair itself especially since it comes with doing the vow. The idea that someone’s gender is identified by their hair length is only your social construct and opinion and not taught by the Bible. If you lived in a country where more men had long hair you may even say the opposite. The Bible only teaches we should not *dress* with woman’s clothes as men. Paul’s 1 verse on hair has nothing to do with hairstyles and everything to do with making a point using the cultural norms of his day so he may explain something more clearly to his audience. We know this because hairstyle is NOT the context at all. Read the entire chapter instead of 1 verse in isolation.

Thank you very much! I am a Christian dude with long hair myself. Now I feel more rest assured and I can say that I'm just being my own individual person even though I still submit to the Lord. In retrospect, I had people telling me when I was job hunting that I needed to cut my hair. I did not but I rolled it Inward and concealed it because I know not everybody accept that. However I have been used as an extra in two historical films we are some shots we're done around Richmond Virginia. They were looking for Slender Man with long hair so in that sense it actually helped my job search. Additionally I think about my past drinking history and a whole bunch of consequences that I suffered. Well I wanted to follow God and I was being allowed to go through those consequences and by his grace I have been sober since 2012. I continue to be active in AA. So my conclusion is that if my hairstyle were a problem God would not have blessed it. And when I am in active Rebellion against God's word he will lift his hand of protection and give me over to my sinful desires and let what happens happen

Don’t forget, Acts 18:18 that says Paul had his hair shorn in Cencherea BECAUSE he had a vow. Also, another interesting detail on first Corinthians chapter 11, verse 3 “any man, praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head“ that word “covered“, the Greek word that Paul wrote actually means “down“. Any man, praying, or prophesying having his head DOWN, dishonors his head. we hear it in church a lot. “let’s all bow our heads“ not men. Men are supposed to look straight or up when they pray. If not, they dishonor their head. That word “down“, that same Greek word is used when Jesus tells the story of the good Samaritan. A certain man went DOWN to Jericho. It’s a decline. If you decline your head when you pray you dishonor it. There are some pretty interesting mistranslations in the Bible. That’s why Paul says study to show yourself approved unto God. Keep your nose in the book gentlemen (and ladies).

I agree- nice presentation. Preachers/pastors have tried to turn this long hair thing on guys into some legalist rule that makes long hair on men a sin. Nothing could be further from the truth. First, we have to understand what and to whom Paul was addressing In 1 Corinthians 11. Paul was speaking to a very carnal church living in a very corrupt city about the CULTURE of the day. in those days, in the city of Corinth, if a man wore his hair long adorned like a woman, he was considered a "male prostitute". That is why Paul was saying it is a shame if a man wore his hair long. He was addressing the culture of the day. He was in no way suggesting a male follower of Christ, if he wore his hair long hair was being sinful against the Lord. A guy wearing his hair long today ( like I do) is in no way dishonoring the Lord. I can tell you now the Lord is more concerned about the condition of our hearts than a long hairstyle we as guys, decide to wear.

If someone looks at a woman wearing pants, will they mistake her for being a man? No. That is the heart of the issue the Torah commandment speaks of. Scripture prohibits marking of the skin because it was a pagan ritual to honour the dead... Just because people say, I don't celebrate that, but I just want to have a tattoo, does not change it in God's eyes...if we take scripture like this long haired argument, then we should be able to take the marking of our skin and say..this too is ok to do?... We need to be careful that we aren't fitting scripture into what our flesh really wants to continue to do...God does look at our hearts and what does scripture say about this....our hearts are deceitful ..I'd suggest, looking up the origins on tattoos when helping your children understand why God says what He does.

The Nazarite vow excluded wine, strong drink, vinegar, grapes and raisins for the duration of the vow. At the end of the vow the individual was to present himself to the priest with a one male lamb, one female lamb, one ram, a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, wafers of unleavened bread mingled with oil and their meal offering and their drink offering. Then after the individual's hair is cut off it is to be burned under the sacrifice of the peace offering. This is probably what the Apostle Saul did in Acts 21. His vow may have been relatively brief since it was to settle the issue at hand so he may or may not have had long hair. The fact that a Nazarite was not to cut his hair implies that the norm was for them to cut their hair. Ezekiel 44:20 says the priests were not to shave their heads nor let their locks grow long but to trim their hair. Revelation 9:7 & 8 refer to strange creatures with faces of men, but hair like women. What do men's faces look like? The Hebrew word for "elder"is almost the same as the Hebrew word for "beard" which is certainly the distinguishing feature of a man's face. What does a woman's hair look like? Long hair is a woman's glory.

This is the new covenant, as in the old covenant long hair on a man was not a disgrace but a sign of seperation and dedication ( nazarite ) It's the whole starting part of the chapter not just a single verse in ( 1st Corinthians chapter 11, verses 1 to 16 ) and is clear on headship, clear on covering, clear on disgrace, ( = to fall from ones high position ) Any woman uncovered disgraces her head( men) any man covered disgraces his head ( Christ ) and if Christ had long hair he would disgrace Yahuah ( not likely ) Verse 1 says " follow my example as l follow the example of CHRIST!" the Nazarene, not Nazarite! He would be a sinner if he was a nazarite as he drank wine many times? plus he personally revealed this gospel to Paul and would be a hypocrite to instruct men to have short hair whilst all along sporting long. The 2nd verse praises the churches for remembering and holding to the teachings ( Yahushua says those who love him hold to his teachings many times? Those who dont wont! ) we are not Samson or Absalom, whose hair became his downfall? You are disgracing Christ your head and thats the truth of it (gospel) l faced the same decision many years ago when Yahushua sent an old Jamaican Christian sister to point me to this teaching, after reading the truth l cut of my ponytail happily, as how small a cost against disgracing my Saviour. So chop chop and your yoke will be easy and burden light👍 even the hairs on your head are counted so no cheating ( sheep to the shearer ) Shalom in Yahushua

Paul made up his own opinions. Paul also claimed it was OK to have wine for the stomach yet Jehovah condemned strong drink, no matter how little the amount. He claimed it was OK to eat meat sacrificed to demons yet Jesus forbade this. He claimed it was better not to touch a woman yet Jehovah told to bring children into the world. He claimed if one was left by his wife he was free to remarry yet Jesus said a man who divorces and marries another commits adultery. Don't listen to Paul.

A Nazarite vow to set yourself apart must shave all their hair off their entire bodies first including the eyebrows, then you don’t cut the hair until the end of the vow to set you apart like Paul did in keeping the Torah. By your logic, Samson was a sinner for obeying God’s commandment to not cut his hair. And Paul was a hypocrite for writing what you said, while wearing long hair himself during his nazerite vow. Also, those days Paul use to write one each letter for all church’s for Lord’s church and he used to make them read in all churches. Please, God’s words stay same today, yesterday and tomorrow. We aren't changing any of God's words, or whether it is applicable, "for culture." Paul was not trying to teach us commandments on hairstyles, he was trying to teach the people he was writing to by making references to things in their culture (not ours). He was demonstrating how shameful it was for a man to submit to another instead of to God, and that it would be as shameful as having short hair in Roman society. As discussed in the video, Paul used this reference to hairstyles because your appearance is what was used to bring on shame in the Roman culture.

Hi Pd , thank you for a great teaching, I'm just wondering about women covering their head because it was a Roman cultural thing in the times of Corinthians? If I'm not mistaken in (Gen 24) - we read that Rebekah covered herself with her veil when she came to Isaac. She understood she was going to be his wife , did she do that as a form of respect for Isaac and understanding that he is her covering or is that a picture we see of something women did in a Hebrew culture? The women that was to be brought before God when suspected of adultry in Numbers -5:18: The priest shall set the woman before the LORD, dishevel the woman’s hair, Again removing the veil that she had on as a sign of being married or having a covering. I believe this was a Hebrew cultural thing and not necessarily a Roman one. This begs the question to what cultural group Paul was actually speaking to and if it could of been a mix between those part of the 10 tribes who were driven away amongst the gentiles and who was still adhering to their former cultural customs. We know from the letter of James that he was addressing the 10 tribes scattered amongst the gentiles - see James 1:1. The Father has used many physical things throughout scripture to set His people apart. But I could be completely wrong about my interpretation of these scriptures brother. I'm still learning and seeking too. The Father has used the headcovering to bring forth deliverance healing and discipline in my life. Many would argu that God Almighty does not need to use a piece of cloth to change anyone and I do agree with that but Yeshua did not need a cross(tree) to die on yet He was given it. The Father is incredibly creative in the ways in which He chooses to work in us. We cannot assume He only does things in a manner that we as mere humans can understand. Shalom

If convicted to wear a head covering, then you must obey that conviction. It is not wrong of course, unless it makes another stumble. You are right in that it was a part of Hebrew culture, and the Roman culture also embraced it. God knew of this cultural practice, hence why it is referenced in scripture. However, it is not a commandment of God to do in the Torah. It is not wrong to not wear one, and it is fine to wear one - there is freedom in Christ in this matter to follow your own convictions. As mentioned earlier however, if it makes another stumble there is something to keep in mind: in today’s culture Muslim women is the prominent group to wear head coverings in the West. If you are continuously mistaken to be a Muslim, then that is a concern. If not, then it is not a problem. Of course, we should not judge each other on this choice, since it is not a commandment.

@@RiseOnFire Thank you for your response. I do agree that it's not a command and yes it is a personal conviction of mine. The way in which I choose to cover is very unlikely to be mistaken for a Muslim but I will take your advice to heart and be mindful of others always. Many blessings.

Yes, passages in the Bible are easily interpreted in many different ways, which has led to some awful beliefs and practices throughout history -- the Skoptsy sect for example. One would think that an omniscient god could have inspired a clearer set of instructions.

Its more than just 'culture' - GODS WORD is eternal in its understanding. Its spiritual. It's about what a WOMAN represents as a TYPE of WOMAN (the assembly) - 'she' is a BRIDE to be uncovered (with no shame before YAH) at the end. A faithful bride is to become a WOMAN - fully matured. A Witness before YAH. FILLED with HIS HOLY SPIRIT. And we once more become NAKED with no shame (as in the garden of Eden). YET there are others who are UNCOVERED and do not have the WORD abiding within and they will be UNCOVERED by YAH to their open shame! The misunderstanding of Pauls words come from the flesh - we see man and we see woman as separate but when they are ONE with YAH they are no longer male or female. This is ISRAEL. Shalom. May we ALL grow our HAIR and BE COVERED by YAH and our understanding in YAH GROW AND GROW under HIS COVERING and FOR HIS GLORY. HalleluYAH.

Do as you are convicted, that is good. But there is not a single commandment in God’s law regarding hair. Therefore we will add no commandment ourselves nor impose our desires on others.

Great video man! If you dont mind me asking, I got a question, some people say it is better not to do certain things because theres those called "the weak in faith", does that apply for long hair? right now Im being told i should cut my hair, and am not allowed to preach sermons in church because of this matter. Thanks
@RiseOnFire

That is a valid point. If you are surrounded by people who are convinced long hair is a great sin, and that having long hair would impede you from witnessing to them, I would consider cutting it. But I would only do it if this really is a major issue you keep finding yourself in. The reality is, people will always find something to dislike about us. But if you find this this is a stumbling block for others, pray about cutting it.

@@pudhislayerjustsul7740 Luke 1:15, my bible has notations and cross- references to show where similar phrases and uses of a specific word can be found elsewhere. Here there is a notation that references Numbers 6:3, which is describing the Nazirite Vow. (Tree of Life Version - translated by Messianic Jews) Based on Luke 1:15, it is widely accepted that John the Immerser conscribed to the Nazirite Vow, which would include allowing the hair to grow long. Please note that the Nazirite Vow states no razor is to touch the head...meaning no trims or haircuts for a specific "hairstyle" per se, until the Vow is over ("until the time of his consecration to ADONAI is over.") I wouldn't use this as an argument for long hair, if all you are wanting is a trendy hairstyle, because this was a serious commitment to ADONAI. We are also commanded to honor our parents...I agree with PD, there is some room for cultural appropriation, just so long as you are honoring ADONAI. Will it cause someone else to stumble? Are we able to glorify ADONAI? In short: pick your battles, it's just hair!
