It’s definitely a chilling feeling I get when I listen to this song especially. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, gives me goosebumps. Makes me feel proud and not so alone about my pure passion I have for the industry and everything we all do, night n day, 24/7. If you ain’t chasing the lonely highs and lows of running the road, then it might not have a lotta meaning to ya but for the guys that feel the way I do, this song should bring you to tears while putting a smile on your face every time. Long haul Paul definitely knows how to paint a picture with his words.

New truckers will never understand this life. It’s a life that’s slowly dying and never coming back. We ran hard, CB was always going and we respected those before us and earned our respect. Listened to old boys and learned the right way. Not like now. Most can’t even shift or back up. Running west coast turns into Hunts Point is not what it was

This video and song is dead on for the years I put into shipping hides out to the panhandle and all the dedicated truckers, barn hands and ladies in the office putting in the hours and passion of a job we all loved. If you was deep in this business you definitely ended up with few broken teeth from those lines. I'm glad I survived the life and will not forget those that didn't survive it by paying the sacrifice.
