Long Johns Silver’s Copycat Chicken Planks | Chicken Tenders

Today I’m making up some delicious, crispy chicken planks tenders they are a copycat of Long John silver’s chicken planks and they’re delicious! Serve them up with some fries and hush puppies and be ready for a delicious meal hope you enjoy❤️

What you will be needing
1 40oz bottle cooking oil i used heart healthy canola oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil mixed in with canola oil peanut oil is a good choice
2 to 21/2 pounds chicken tenders
Tony Chachere’s
Garlic powder
black pepper
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons corn starch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sazon con azafran
1 1/2 cups seltzer water

That chicken looks amazing! I’m impressed that you did this with such a small amount of oil. I recommend that you try brining your chicken next time. It makes a huge difference for white meat. Brine for a few hours to overnight, rinse and season normally. It doesn’t make the chicken noticeably taste like any one of the ingredients. It just tastes delicious. Here’s the recipe: 2 cups water 1 TBSP fine sea salt 2 tsp MSG 1 tsp sugar This is still good without the MSG if you don’t have it. Great video!!!
