Ole #14 has been through a lot in its like 28 years, how many can say that they’ve done this much with a truck and it’s still around? I just hope that the day that #14 is ever retired that it’s not disassembled and it could get one of its iconic paint schemes like this, the Power Wheels or even the Chrome Illusion. Definitely one of my favorite Bigfoot trucks.

This is why I’m glad that Bob recorded every single/little thing. Historic and epic moments here as is with most of the behind the scenes footage that’s captured.👍👍

Woah dude you are having loads of problems with that truck

Mad respect for drivers like Dan Runte and Jim Kramer who literally risked their lives to entertain their fans and push these trucks to the limit! I wish Ford still sponsored these guys. Bigfoot is an American icon!!

It shows the integrity of everyone at Bigfoot that Dan was concerned that he’d ruined the truck, and Jim was just happy that Dan was ok.

Dan was clearly upset at the amount of carnage, which by modern standards seems pretty on par for a big stadium weekend. Goes to show how groundbreaking Bigfoot was and how much pride they take in their equipment.

Dan would jump again in Bloomsburg the following year that might have been a smaller scale compared to this jump and the plane just, it was still spectacular which I was in attendance for that jump and event .
Man, oh man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I am reviewing this awesome video back from multiple angles thanks to Bob Chandler and others, they shot off that pyro a split second way too soon before Dan Runte fully cleared that jump. I think that blast messed up Dan's vision a bit after that, but I can't say that 100% truth to it. Wild stuff as always and awesome BTS footage, y'all. -Matt

That jump was definitely not the best for a lot of reasons, at least heading into it. The cold night caused a lot of dew to form on the windshield, the issues with the truck leading up to it, the aftermath. Spectacular jump, but everything leading up to it and after...just so many things that could and did happen that entire time.

🧨 guys or guy was a little bit early on setting that off.
@waynenorbreyjr93713 жыл бұрын
🤔 did someone forget to inform Dan about the 🧨 during this jump? Judging by his interview he wasn’t expecting all that. They used it during the plane jump so it’s probably should have been expected with this jump. Especially being at night and in Vegas.
