yeah I've noticed everyone does that around here...I'm getting propane for warmth. Then if I need to, I hook it up to a burner to boil water or something. Propane is king :)

If there is even a slight chance for such a dangerous situation, people need to know in advance. At the very least, the electrical grid will be taxed, rolling brown outs possible.

I agree with everything you just said however, my question mainly stems from the recent addition of AI built into the european model. The accumulation of data from a variety of sensors MIXED with historical events, doesn't this help in getting out there passed 10 days? Perhaps I'm not understanding the AIFS model correctly but I'm understanding it correctly, the conditions would be there, somewhat, to get pretty accurate passed 10 days. Not necessarily, and you have to look at the AI version of the ECMWF, which is called the ECMWF AIFS, so everything I'm showing and you're seeing is not AI, which is still new and experimental. No model is still worth much other than larger patterns in 10 days that really haven't changed much. Always remember that small errors multiplied by long time intervals equals larger errors.
