Well done video! I admire the knowledge everyone shares from this video the satisfaction of improving their long range shooting skills and to challenge themselves with fun competitions! However I firmly believe that long range shooting and hunting do not go well together. Over the years there has been this marketing scam that makes you want to believe that you need all the equipment to be an effective western hunter. From someone that has hunted the open country since he could walk the idea of needing the long range shooting equipment to be successful is almost laughable. Unfortunately what is not laughable is our wildlife and hunting opportunities have taken a negative affect due partly to hunters believing to be unstoppable with the gadgets rather than learning about the respect for the animal and the environment they live in. Everyone can learn to shoot long range but very few learn to get close to their animal and make the clean kill. Things have changed. Hunting is now becoming a competition not with the animal but with other hunters especially on public land. It is now a competition of not who can get close to the animal and make the clean kill but who can hit that animal the furthest no matter the fate of the animal wounded or dead. Plus more long range hunters means more hunters shooting the same animal and that opens a can of worms as well on who’s tag it goes on. I like watching your shows but I only ask to be careful what you are encouraging and how it may affect the future for our wildlife and hunting. Thank you and good hunting!

Let’s call it what is. A shooting competition. Hunting you don’t carry multiple large shooting bags nor rush the shot. From the clips shown there would have been an incredible amount of wounded animals. Not to mention most of the rigs used looked to be competition rigs not hunting rifles.

@@NBKmediaPRSlol no kidding. There’s no way learning some personal limits on steel and sharpening your marksmanship would ever help you in a hunting situation….

I am half century old and I have never seen legit hunters carrying camera tripods, inanely long barreled rifles with silencers and long ACIS magazines out hunting. If it is a shooting sport I am fine with it but do not call that hunting or even simulating hunting. I gurantee 99.9% of hunters do not hunt with carbon fiber camera tripods or as much rifle, barrel, scope as these guys are all carrying and they are not using 10+ round magazines. In fact a lot of states limit how many rounds you can have in your gun while actual hunting game! Do not pee in my face and then tell me it's raining! A guy on a $35,000 animal has nothing to do witht he animal and is the cost paid for that guided hunt and all associated cost's. People like that with more money than brains are not true hunters they are rich men with nothing better to do! If tag's are getting harder to get and more expensive maybe you should be voting for better politicians! Maybe getting involved politicaly would be wise!
