Long read sequencing: phasing

Phasing is figuring out if a bit of DNA comes from the person's maternal or paternal DNA copy. This analysis relies on particular features that are tricky to find with short read sequencing. In this video, we explain why Oxford Nanopore Technologies' approach to long read sequencing makes it much easier to phase effectively.
