Wow amazing! I sometimes have problems with first row of knitting because I guess my casting is not ideal. Does this casting method solve that issue too?

I do it the same, but I wrap the yarn around my index finger, instead of the thumb. Great tutorial! I knit in the english style because I get my gauge more consistent than when I knit in the continental way.
