YES! Finally someone said it. LT1917's paper is a joke. I live in the USA, bought a $35LT1917 and found out I could not use it because of the ghosting. 80g of paper is the same quality paper I get in the 1Dollar Store. Thank you so much for sharing that. Now I'm using a 120g dotted notebook I found on Amazon for $5.

The problem I've found with amazon notebooks are the small number of pages... Any chance you could include a link? Thanks!

After watching this I realize I need to start one. I did a travelers notebook insert of my bucket list of places I'd like to travel but a collection I'd like to invest time into is one of things I'd like to do bucket list...so, I decided to subscribe.

Such good ideas in this video. :) I always have to repeat my ever growing to read list in like every journal...haha. I have a section in every journal of nice lists and 'cheer up' pages for when i got the blues so i think they would be good in this type of journal as they never change and are always good to be on hand...already written. thanks for a great video.

@@JashiiCorrin I actually have albums on my phone separated by spread type...where all my screenshots are, and when I need an idea I go in to either weekly, monthly, habit tracker, etc. and move the image to "My Bujo" album to reference (so not to get overwhelmed by all of them).

Collections Journal - this is a great idea! I’m going through my BUJO s at the rate of 1 every 2-3 months atm. Also appreciate the idea that the Collections spreads can be done with more time and care if they’ll last so much longer. Makes my daily BUJO the “in the moment” tool. Will definitely try this. Thanks 🙏

Ryder Carroll's BuJo Book - HIGHLY recommend. I put it off for awhile since I'd already been using a BuJo for a year or so, but it I'm so glad I read it anyway! i also bought the audible because his voice is so chill - nice to have it on and refresh from time to time. I love that it doesn't just explain how to make a bullet list (how could that be a whole book?) but .. why. and what. It's life enriching.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I'm late to the game having just bought my 1st A5 journal (Skrivwell) and a set of 3 inexpensive A5 spiral dot journals (RETTACY) for practice as I research how I want my main book to be set up. In doing my practice I've been unable to mentally overcome feeling I need a SEPARATE book for other major ONGOING aspects of my life. I couldn't square tracking my regular household & parenting life to-do's with my COLLEG/STUDENT life and complex MEDICAL ISSUES. I thought I was missing a key point of how to Bujo. In addition my main one stays at home and I simply take a screenshot of todays page. My medical Bujo and school Bujo travels with me! As Ryder Carroll stated - "make it work for you!" THIS works for me!!

My most used collections pages are my pen test pages, since I have three different sets of coloured markers (Stabilo pen 68, Crayola supertips and Tombow dual brush). So far I don't think I really need other collections... Suggestions for books to read: The Dark Tower series by Stephen King (7 main books + 1 'side' book) :D

@marloussie

Based on quality and number of different colours, I think I prefer the Tombows (I have the Crayola supertips 50 pack). However, since I don't have all Tombows yet, the Crayolas are a nice addition to have. Tombows brighter colours are brighter, pastel colours lighter, etc. But more expensive. Nonetheless, I do really like the Crayolas for theme colours and for regular colouring!

By your list of games, I would suggest you to play Gris, Ori in the blind forest and Journey (They are different from Tomb Raider and Life is Strange, but I feel they all have this feminine vibe to them that makes them incredible to play). All of them are beautiful and fun

"They're milkliners mate" love it. I love the idea of a collections journal but at the same time it's so intimidating. If it's not on your book list, add Becoming by Michelle Obama :) it was really good!

Does the ghosting on the paper refer to refer to the pages being kinda see through in the LT journal? Sorry, I'm german and trying to find the right translation there :D I also recently started my first bullet journal in a LT journal and I do feel like the pages are rather see through sadly.
@JashiiCorrin
@JashiiCorrin 5 жыл бұрын
That's right, yeah! Ghosting means you can see your ink/writing/what-not on the page over, and (someone correct me if I'm wrong) shadowing means the same thing. Then you have bleeding which is the worst, which is when the ink actually makes it's way through the paper (like when you use a Sharpie on regular paper)
