I agree for the money you can’t beat them! I just picked up a 5k myself for a RZR 1000s install- I personally like the cable, I’ve never broke a cable and I’ve broke a lot of rope ones

I have never broke a cable either but I have fucked it up and stab the shit out of myself and sliced my hand open with a rusty cable so I’ll pick rope any day also it’s safer

No, because it’s the easiest thing you can do just take it apart you will figure it out

Got a question maybe you can answer it recently got the same winch for a 2020 kawasaki teryx I need to rev the engine or the sxs will shut off kills the power like that?

I don’t know anything about the KRX electrical system or how big the battery is but you’re probably gonna want to get a dual battery kit or something like that the KRX may not have that big of a stater with a stock RZR never had any problems running it Where are you located

I have this winch and it struggles with lower after using it for 1 minute. It’s like the battery is dead but it’s not! Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Yeah either you have burnt the motor up or you have hurt or melted the wires that are going to the winch motor the factory wiring is junk

I sure hope that it is on a four wheeler’s otherwise it is way too small but yes it will still work but you have the potential of corroding the cheaper made Power wires and I had to change mine out to some heavier duty cables but other than that it is good

Most likely you have corroded and melted the wires going to the motor tool bag the terminal cover and see what it looks like I had to upgrade all of the power and ground wires after a while
