APP is a wonderful product and it adds gloss. If you have ever taken care of a cast iron skillet you know after you scrub the pan clean you then place the pan on the stove. The warming up of the pan to open the pores is very similar to how APP works. The coating will almost melt into the paint after using APP. Thank you for the educational video!

I want to try this so much but have so many questions.... sorry but I asked the same on the part 1 video, just trying to get answers as fast as possible 😂 😂 I have 3 main questions: 1. Does APP contains protection by itself? So, can I apply it as my LSP? If so, what is the average durability? 2. If minimum cut is desired, why not apply it with a rotary? I assume a rotary have less cut than a palm sander because it has no stroke vs 5-8mm on the sander. 3. Can it be used on ppf?

The app is a panel prep If you need more prep you need to use a polish The App have a ceramic in it… if you use to much he cure on the surface and you can remove it …. The palm sander is very good for this application

Why is APP sold in a bottle size that would last most diy’ers a lifetime? Even professionals would have to spend a large fortune on coating before their bottle of APP would be used up! Seems to me an 8 oz bottle or less would make more sense.

Kinda sounds like your "buddy" may be the rookie. 2 things to note. 1. They are applying the polish with a short throw sander due to its short throw and they are not trying to correct any defects. They already corrected the paint prior to this video. 2. It sounds like your "buddy" is trying to get a show car shine. 90% of people cannot see the difference from 80% to 100% defect removal. In doing that you also lose clear coat that cannot be replaced unless it is repainted. What your buddy was doing to compared to what these gentlemen are doing are 2 completely different things.

the APP doesn't to correct any defect, the goal is not reduce the clear coat, with the APP it's a adhesion promoter polish for the coating.The goal is preserve the clearcoat much we can.
