Your dreaming where is the pic ...my son is the greatest Texas fisherman in the state ..he landed it without a bow...and he released it...it was 6' easy

I find it simply amazing how people can troll world records without proof...we sought out all comparisons and found none this size... we should have called the Texas State records but he said dad the record didn't mean that much it was a blessing to catch one with a light test and release it back to make bigger ones for the next generation to enjoy to catch......post pics and proof before commenting or a video of you!!! Not someone else ...This is a secret spot just off the Trinity river ...you have to hike miles in brush just to get there through snakes and bores ...your not on a boat sucking on beer

Don't want to burst you bubble but that's not a world record. A giant? Most definitely, HOWEVER I have caught at least 3 longnose gar over 6 feet long and one weighed 68 pounds while striper fishing on Lake Murray in South Carolin. Great catch though!

No record it's big but not huge I've caught 5 ft long nose and they wernt even state records
