I know I'm coming in way late, but I really enjoyed watching this series. Look forward to seeing more blind plays of classic games in the future. I played this game back when it was new, but hardly remembered anything, so it was almost like experiencing it again for the first time myself.

Thanks for bringing back a memory. I played this game as a kid, had the map, the card, the nintendo power strat guide AND the Hot Line #... Mom was PISSED when she got the phone bill... My ass didn't sit for a month... I enjoyed your suffering to find the items. I agonized when you walked past items and locs or didn't use an item for intended use (gwalins love and the silver harp) binge watched over the last few days, good stuff.

As a huge Dragon Warrior fan, it was a ton of fun watching your blind playthrough. I remember first playing this when I was 7 and having my dad help me with the hard stuff like the green dragon and the damn stones of sunlight. This game kicked off my love of RPGs and 4 on the NES is my favorite game of all time. Hoping to see a Dragon Warrior 2, 3, and 4 blind playthrough in the future!!

Did you ever look to see what Gwaelin's Love does? Impressive that you found the token measuring with a card that came with the game.

I just got a new copy of the PSX Dragon Warrior 7. Now I just need to find a way to play it.

I finished the whole game (SNES version, which is easier) before 1:32:00 of this video. I know where to go and used the fast forward button on my emulator liberally but I played through everything. You really only need to get keys, harp, stones, token, Erdrick's armor, rainbow drop, sword, done. Goldmen give 650g in this version, which speeds things along immensely. I planned to skip Cantlin completely, but needed to level up a bit to get Erdrick's armor and almost had the gold to buy the nice equipment there already anyway so I did some grinding around Cantlin, bought the stuff, then got Erdrick's armor and carried on from there. I chose to save Gwaelin, but carry her around for the rest of the game. There's three "endings" you know, depending on what you do with her.

It makes you wanna shut comments off I bet. God I can see the people sitting screaming at their screens because your not doing everything as efficient like a Speedrun or something. I'd like to see you play dw2. Great job lack.
