Sprint cars run a oil pump off the front of the cam... so reverse rotation. Peterson pumps may have something that will suit..

Yeh I did end up finding some that would work for reverse rotation, but all were too large to fit in the space we were working with, all of them were going to fowl and be a problem for any kind of radiator setup

Is it worth getting the actual cam measured by the cam doctor or similar instead of the cam card?

@@DonzLockz dialing It in gives us the whole story. Valve events, centrelines, lift etc. The card is just to confirm and ensure it’s where it should be in regards to crank rotation 👌

At that point in time no way we would have been able to source a set within the deadline we were working towards, also huge $$$. We did end up with another shaft rocker solution which you will see in the next episode!
