Longsword ASMR to Get You Through the Day | Dark and Darker

Just a little longsword asmr to get you through the day from dark and darker! Longsword has been hitting well the last few days with solid dsync improvements which is great to see. Been having a lotta fun running into duos as a solo and just forcing some fights and having an overall good time. Still hoping for some better balance in dark and darker some day though. But for now we longsword parrying and stabbing our way to a good time in the game! Longsword for life!

@@jjabrams2619 I mean the game is awfull in terms of balance. The monsters health and damage makes no sense. In normal its fine but when you go high roller or to the hell makes no sense. in hell literally you have to cheese every enemy. There is no fun on that. They need to make the game hard but not that hard like seriously. there is no point on me to go to the hell or high roller. 0 fun in this state.

Can you riposte rapiers? Last night I hit 2 parries and immediately hiy right click after hearing the clang, and it just re-blocked instead and got me killed.

The timing is very tight. I've hit a few parries and ripostes on them this wipe so I know it's still doable. Persevere brotha

It’s fun in normals under 25 gear. But once you play in any sort of gear it’s almost impossible to play and chase down fights since longsword legitimately has no chasing potential and no sticking potential. I do a lot of bow shooting when I put gear on sadly

Yes actually, they are one of the easiest parries to hit but it’s been missing waayy more lately, it seems weird as I’m not doing anything different.

Mace handles are legitimately fake right now it seems. Need to do some testing this weekend before I take off for a few days next week and test some stuff to confirm

Does a parry attack do more damage than a regular one?

Yes much more. Longsword attacks scale at 1.0 1.05 1.1 and the riposte scales at 1.875 lol. That said. When you fight players that know how to fight the weapon you will legitimately never hit a riposte on them because they can simply walk away. This is just fun clips from fooling around in normals.

They've nerfed plate multiple times through different means since the game got back onto steam with the fresh wipe. The best way is usually a hybrid build style with a plate helmet and then leather/cloth pieces stacking agi, hp and str

Vigor agi dex and some str is usually my focus. I look for flat hp rolls with agi/dex on them. Gets pretty expensive pretty fast lol

Lol I’d love to do that. But it’s just not doable. Which is why I play solo in duos and solo in trios for normals. HR absolutely sucks ass right now. Chasing warlocks for 8 minutes for a single fight just makes me wanna play a different game lol. Gonna do some geared normals solo in duos and chase some clips that way at least
