This guy is my reason for listening to fusion back in the 80's. I feel ashamed to say that I'd though he had passed away and hence never searched the web for any recent recordings. So you can imagine my surprise when I discovered this gem!! and he's linking up with Roy Ayers in July 2017. We must celebrate their achievements whilst they are alive, what say you?

Lonnie is the better in smooth jazz & cool vibes. I have 14 albums & CD's. I took an extended Lunch break just to see him back in the 90's. Visions of a new World is his best work. Keep on Lonnie your music for the 70's 80's and 90's is transcended. Please come back to Central Florida for an concert.

There was a live concert of his in 2004 in France that was good except for the guy who was trying to sing. I had to cut away from it because Donald Smith he is not. I tried to listen, but just couldn't. I don't recognize this song and so it's not painful on my ears like the guy in France was.
