Yeah I remember hearing about how the writers originally didn’t want to have any time travel or at least not take it seriously (even with Rick and Morty being loosely based on back to the future) because time travel just never makes sense in media. And now the show has acquired all these Family Guy and other writers and it’s an entirely different show now.
