I was fortunate to go there in college, as one of the guy's in dorm had a brother who worked there... free pass! 🤗 Yes, we had to wear coat and tie, and had dinner before the magic show. Was so cool inside, all Victorian decor, with antiques, and of course "Irma" the ghost who played the piano! 😀 Would love to go again!

Milt is Bill Larsen’s brother, not his son. SMH and Randy Pitchford is related to Cardini, one of the greatest stage sleight of hand magicians of all time. Sunday Brunch is the only time the Castle is open to the public and to families with children.

@@edhiggins2917 I think in the 70's, my first visit to the Magic Castle, it was open to the public for brunch. But I'm not sure. At other times I visited because of someone whose relative was a magician. I wish I had joined in 1989 as a non-magician member when dues were only around a couple of thousand a year. I got the application and credit app (they were selective), but never completed it because of travel. Hanging out at the bar with magicians and others would have been fantastic! The Magic Castle and Yamshiro's on the hill above it were always great spots with great views of Hollywood and downtown LA in the distance.
