Ok Lawrence, did you enjoy it. For me the game is way to intimidating and I feel even if it was released the threshold of entry by now is completely discouraging. Its just too complex of a game.

There is a learning curve. But the community falls over themselves to help you if you just ask for the help. Anything from just answering questions or a complete stranger offering g to run around with you for a couple hours just showing you the basics a d how to do things. The trick is learning how the game wants to be played. Wich..doesn't help you in the start.. but if you take the time to learn the basics you'll have that moment where it just clicks and realise how the game wants to be played and it will all just make sense.

@@FreebirthBoccara Yeah i see that potential in it. But its also very much against you having fun in your own way. Like "Let me jump on top of the buggy when you drive it" will be met with the physics engine bucking you off of the thing or the buggy not riding forward at all. Or make you clip in a hole in the floor and you cant move, or having the cargo door open to have a look outside and you get ejected out of the ship Etc etc. I think the fundamental way in which the player model interacts with the map would make me paranoid about trying to have fun in this game.

@Favar1 alot of those specifics is just a misunderstanding of how the game functions. Like the opening a door in a moving ship thing. As long as you stay in the ship, your fine. But that door extends out of the ship and into the "outside" because the entire game is a series of nested rooms that are independent of eachother. And moving from one container to another means your now affected by that new container. Not the old one. But if they didn't do it that way. It would be to janky to move around inside a ship while that ship moves. Just like how in most game engines it's literally impossible to move around inside a moving object. And you HAVE to be locked to a seat or become that new moving object.

@@FreebirthBoccara Its an understandably hard challenge, to have all of these things move in relation to each other in an Massive online environment. I get the challenge. But its not good enough and just feels janky as of right now.

Watching this live made me realise how bad this game is still. I got this game years ago and I see not much has changed. Still the same bugs but with more time consuming mechanics.
