I accepted someone like this story, For me she was "Better than Perfect." In 4 years of relationship She used to forgot my birthdays, but I never complained. And what I get in return, "Break up," I would rather say it "Brutality". Shit happens, and this shit has taught me a lesson, "Focus on Yourself." End of the day you have to take care of yourself, so just go with the flow and improve yourself for yourself.
@joshiumeshv4 жыл бұрын
You are right! When Swamiji tells us about acceptance then he only considered set of people who are cultured at least up to some base level. That is if these people are made to understand then they are capable of thinking over it. And then there are other sets of people too! Some are not capable of understanding and some deliberately do not understand or pretend of not understanding. Those who deliberately do not understand, have different motivational values. And in that case Swamiji's advice will have no effect. World is complex and made further complicated by people who are incapacitated to understand for one reason or other.
@kritikasharma79984 жыл бұрын
Yes this is true in last we only left with ourselves so it is best to improve us rather than focusing on anyone . But these things are so damm easy to wrote , hard to apply in reality.
I would like to add one more thing, i.e "time," it is also required for acceptance. Accept what you have today. Shrimad Bhagwat Gita teaches us, "Nothing is permanent in this world, Everything is temporary" and it keeps changing.

In this "use & throw" society finding true love is just like finding water in a desert.
@jaysrinarshinghadev46503 жыл бұрын
Soumita - To counter this effectively some of the corrective measures must be taken on a war footing basis: 1. Drastic aversion from western patterns of lifestyle on all aspects except electronic gadgets i.e. iphones. 2. Deliberate inclination towards eternal (sanatan dharma) vedic philosophy n religiosity. 3.stop associating with people with western or so called modern mindset as much as practical. 4.cut off with all contemporary garbage like bollywood, Hollywood, tollywood, Web series, Netflix. 5. Take shelter of bhagwat Gita, srimad bhagavatam. Get connected with iskcon. Practice spirituality. 6. Avoid Allopathy as much as possible an embrace ages old n proven Ayurvedic medication. In a month or so u will see transformational DAWN in life

One fine day, she informed me of the decision to part away, that too I accepted. She could not give a single reason for it, I accepted for her happiness. Later realised it of some other relationship, as I was staying in other state. Year later she tried to reach me, I did not responded, then saw her getting married, the getting divorced of domestic violance and what not. But it's a completely different that same two persons start living under one roof..the one another may see flaws of another but compromising with each other is the best medicine for a healthy marriage.. Trying to change the partner towards the way the other wants is the beginning of the disaster..changing someone's life pattern to best suit to your way will be only temporary as the real you will surely come out someday.. If both can accept and respect the two individualism is the healthy relationship as good friends..

But to what extent shall we accept? Accept their immaturity which actually breaks the bond? Nobody is perfect but in this story I would have been happy if the man would have taken effort to look at what bothers him and comment at the end saying that he can live with those flaws. This clearly shows some lack of effort.
