My cousin lives in Gaylord, in that Nottingham mobile home park where people were killed. She had gone shopping and taken her dog - luckily. She sent me some pics of what's left of her trailer. It picked it up and moved it, although it's still kinda on one piece - it's halfway on it's side and far beyond repair. Man, so lucky she happened to go to town. She couldn't get in there until today. She's lucky - I think she can salvage most of her stuff. Very weird to have this happen that far north.

How terrible for these people! I can’t even imagine what these people are going through! 😢. It can all be gone in an instant! Hope they all can recover from this devastation!

We have recovered yet some houses and some people are still most likely having a hard time getting back on their feet

We live in Traverse City Michigan not far away from Gaylord. As a child I was told if the sky turns a yellow color head home. The sky was yellow on this day. We were lucky so much damage and 2 lives lost 😢😢

The community here is strong. Hundreds of volunteers going from wreck to wreck helping clean up.

Even things that look salvageable , are usually water soaked and often full of tiny debriefs like dirt and insulation. It's all so much for these people to deal with ! . . 😔 . . 🙏

How sad ! . . How terificilly sad ! . . 😔 . . We've been hit by a tornado 3x . . in my 60+ years in this state ! Nothing close , to what's happened to these folks! . 🤷 . Weather in Michigan is totally unpredictable year round. . 🌬️ . 🌪️. ⛈️ . ⚡. ☀️ . ❄️ ! . . As a fellow Michigander I can only say , God Bless all of you , and I'll be praying for you ! ! . . 🙏

@@jason9704 It absolutely does, DOSENT it. Dark skies accompanied by thunder/ lightening and hail sends me into survivor mode. Purse, money, phone & meds and it's down to the basement I go. With my 3+ tornados in my lifetime ..🚫🍀..I take NO chances ! ...⛈️..🌬️...😲....🏃

@@sharonjacobs5351 I know we had a tornado before just a very small one barely did anything and we had a huge one before but way back in the 90’s I think but we rarely EVER get a EF3 tornado we thought it would be sunny skies for the day but nope god had other plans i would’ve been in goodwill the spot where it hit hard if I didn’t change my mind and go somewhere else but it was just very unpredictable where the tornado was gonna hit and we didn’t even get a warning or anything just like BAM

@@jason9704 Jason, I'm so sorry you went through all that. Mother nature is unpredictable and humans at this point have no power to change it. It's terrifying to young and old. No discrimination involved. I pray things are becoming a bit more livable for all of you and rebuilding continues. It takes years to regrow a community. At times victims feel so undone by their experience they move out of the area. Again best wishes and prayers go out to you all ...🙏

It's hard to tell from the video, but the house was blown off its foundation.

My dad built the house with timber from our property. 2x4 were real 2inches by 4inch and same with larger beams and rafters. Strong old house. We were in the basement when it lifted. I could see light all around me. Wife has cracked vertabrea and ribs. I was hit in head. But we will get through this.

If Jesus controlled the weather and allowed this to happen, why would he do it in the first place? Is he punishing them for something? No god did this! It was the government with their weather modification trying to kill people so they don’t have to! It’s called HAARP and if you google it, they’ll lie through their teeth about it!
