Nothing more entertaining than watching you lads digging an adit into the side of a hill especially a shicer. Glen we get more intolerant as we get older, and here not only we have Ken with a scoop but he is dividing the dirt from a scoop into a glove while wearing designer knee pads and resting on a telescopic plastic tree stump. And me, I have to watch as my son wont even pour the dirt from a scoop into a glove, he has to divide the dirt between one scoop into another scoop while wearing gloves. I dont know what the world is coming to. Cheers lads.

4 in 1...!!! What a rippa...!!! I've never seen that B4. Hey is it just me Glenn, but when you bush wash the gold it feels different in the gob ? I feel it sort of clinks harder on the teeth rather than the other stuff. I've found smashed up lead, put it mouth but know straight away it doesn't clink like the gold does????

Haha 😅. That huge hole reminds me of the one my sister and I dug ..my sd2200d going nuts ..blisters on hands and after giving it a miss and going back later ..we dug more and more and it ended up to be a tip full of old tin cans and junk ...omg !

You should have chased that big signal, the 7000 is king and will hear things others won't. I would have tried different ground tyoe settings to see if you lost the signal. I did notice at the start of you digging that hole the 7000 was sounding to the right of the hole, so good chance it was a patch of noisy ground. But should go back over it with the machine in different ground modes and see what happens

We actually went back and when we did changed settings and played around a bit but there wasn’t anything in there!! Must have been ground noise after all 😢😢

In my experience the 7000 can really scream on big roots, maybe that was it 🤔

Na it wasn’t in the end. Literally just ground noise 😢 no roots in sight. But yep they do sometimes scream on roots

Great reunited outings, plastic scoop action versus Glenn's expert meat scoops, under and over the coil recovery methodology, masterful. The mystery adit to Canton was perplexing, I'd ask if a ground balancing the 7000 would have helped, that the GPZ is known for large and deep gold, but I suspect it's something not even a pinpointer would help with, you'd seen some ironstone, unsure if the same area though. But maybe it was gold shedding out of the outcrop, Ant? Ken? Glenn? Try again? Moot point to mute point, 5, 6, 7000? What might an Equinox machine display, do you have one kept in the vehicle when you're on an adventure? Great watching, says this Aussie born in Croatia but made in Oslo, Norway, so that makes me pine-fresh, opinionated and tanned, dobro and jebedali!💪😁🦘🌲🌭
