Most of these guys are waiting for Sony to release an update that allows levelling past 100 too. I only have 10 Platinum trophies and I'm only level 19 but I don't trophy hunt all the time out of the 3 tiers im mid tier. It was easy to do on ps3: there was different countrycode games. for example: japanese game version of call of duty with japanese trophys and cod european version with same trophys but different region code. on ps4 you dont so many games with different region code any more. i think sony realized that trophyhunters "tricks" with this method. why trick? the gamesave was able to been loaded on the different region code version of the game. means: you play usa version of 1 game, then use the save for the other versions of the same game. hakoom has on ps3 multiplatinum on some games from ps3. trophylist of him takes a while to load but very interesting. good video. thumb up

Pretty sure they trophy boost by playing tons of kid games. Those plats are really easy. Also, yeah they use Japanese accounts to access exclusive games that never made it out of Japan.

The amount of points you get for trophies is rated on its difficulty (based on the percentage of people who earned the trophy of all players in total who have played the game). There are tons of really easy plats out there like the telltale games which won't earn you many points considered the fact that almost everyone has that plat as well.

It changes daily. Roughdawg was 12 plats ahead not that long ago and now Hakoom is beating him by 2. Roughdawg was also beating him for golds and silvers but Hakoom has taken over on those as well. He is usually around 900 total trophies behind Hakoom. I myself have 19,657 trophies but only 114 platinums.
