So true! I was a husky kid growing up. Got right after senior year football and power lifting. Went to the USMC and had an older friend that helped me revamp my entire wardrobe and style. After that my dating life and career took off. That was at 20. 46 now and all is great.

Only a few years back I looked quite bad. Got my act together, begun fixing my style, building my body and character maturity and lastly my grooming and I am in a much wilder position right now! These things are hard but true and worthwhile. Genetics don't play much of a role, self improvement is what does. But nothing will eventually work without personality.

8:58 I can attest to this. I had a lot of social anxiety, and was socially awkward.. honestly I still consider myself awkward to an extent, but if you compared me now to me 2 years ago, you’d notice a huge difference in the way I carry myself and communicate. This was HARD to get used to, and I still struggle with it today, but I’m so much better at making connections with others now than i’ve ever been. My job kinda forced me out of my comfort zone, but at some point I had to adopt a mindset of self improvement to get better.

For me, a buzz cut, baby face, no facial hair(takes forever to grow), clean skin, good style, and being fit get the job done. I am not shredded I am just fit with some muscle but with that alone I feel really confident and feel great. Once the confidence kicks in, you walk different ngl.

Alex, I agree with most of the stuff you said, except with the part where you said to ditch anything you haven’t worn in 6 months. Style is cyclical and most “classics” always make comeback. I hadn’t worn anything other than slim-fit jeans for over 3 years and this year I’ve been wearing classic fit/baggy jeans 90% of the time, and because I didn’t throw them away, I didn’t have to buy them again. Don’t throw anything away, people, if it doesn’t fit you or your style anymore, at least sell the stuff or keep it for future use.
