The longest fight of Muhammad Ali's life was with Parkinson's disease. Even when the heavyweight champion was at his peak, signs of the disorder were present. Dr. Jon LaPook has more.

Not to be mean but a main factor that was likely had contributed to his disease was his boxing style. See, Ali had a "Slick" fighting style. In this style he would have his guard down and "dance" to make the opponent react and become off balance to match Ali's movements. In this, Ali would create an opening to deliver a knockout or a clean hit. It worked most of the time, but it had its drawbacks. As I said earlier, this fighting style enabled his guard to be down, and leaving Ali open to punches. I think that was a major factor in his disease. "Not to be mean" REST IN PEACE CHAMP

That's because Parkinson is hereditary not the result of boxing. If boxing caused the disease then why have we not seen it over and over in boxing.

@@jamescook6564 Freddie Roach has Parkinson’s. Not to mention all the other fighters who have brain damage from years of fighting. Michael J Fox probably had Parkinson’s in his family genes. What did any of this have to do with what I said?
@ligmaballs0911
@ligmaballs0911 2 жыл бұрын
@@jamescook6564 you mentioned boxing not being a cause of Parkinson’s yet studies have shown brain trauma can lead to Parkinson’s later in life. Many CTE symptoms can be very similar to those of Parkinson’s disease. Misdiagnosis can always be a reason but to say Parkinson’s only being hereditary is incorrect.

Well that thrilla in manila thing was because Ali didnt have the incredible speed he had fighting joe frazier for the 2nd time. The 3rd time he didnt have alot of speed but did have more speed than the first joe frazier fight until round 10, where joe dragged him through a brand new world Ali calls ''The closest thing to death'' because of his fatigue. The first symptoms showed up in 1977, evidence were speech problems, his movement slowing down was seen more and was seen dramatically faster. In 1978-1979 his facial expression already looked way different compared in 1974-75.

It appears that Allah was not able save Ali to remember himself in life. Maybe because he forgot to visit Mecca, if he visited, he not followed the musilim rules. How did the less talented man be so great. People purchased him made him great, made money and left him suffer. People who were around him, hugged him, betrayed him. He speaks with so proud, putting his hand on back of sofa while talking about God. He is talking about his own greatness. The man who insisted his opponent know his name, "what is my name" Allah punished him. Ali forgot his own name and died. Oh God, bless the unholy soles.

One day, one way or another you will die and we all will. You are not qualified to get into intentions of any human and speak as if you know wether or not Ali wanted to make a show by his speaches because this is accusation of him bring a hypocrite. Also you are totally wrong that allah was not able to save him and again you cannot say that Ali having Parkinson is punishment from god otherwise can I say that anyone who dies with Parkinson or with cancer is punishment with god? Very shallow thinking.
