​@@karinahansen9884I believe it's the first time in the shows run that a General Election has been called when the series isn't on. They're invariably in May when the Spring season airs and the 2019 election was in November during the Winter series. It's a shame the BBC didn't commission a one-off

God, I'm in far too deep. I recognised Peter Obourne and the name Lynton Crosby. This is like watching my life flash before my eyes, although 2010 feels like only a few years ago. Christ... I just had a horrible thought. I thought "I wish it were then, not now". Then I remembered we'd have 14 years of Tory awfulness in-front of us, and the looming spectre of Boris Johnson on the horizon. Like an unkempt ice-berg... I'll take being old.
