Loved this particular episode! I find it very relaxing to follow you through the swamps and woods identifying various frogs, toads, snakes, etc. I have always been terrified of snakes, but am slowly overcoming my fears with your expert knowledge, soothing voice, general caring of these creatures. I live in Northern Calif. and hiking in the summer with rattlesnakes out and about terrifies me.

We've got western fence lizards (we call them "blue-bellies") on our property and ever since i was a little girl i loved catching them, and the occasional alligator lizard. Have not been bit yet, even caught a cold fresh out of brumation male alligator lizard at work in our building and let him warm up on my chest! A very fun thing to do with blue bellies is, when they push up at you, nod your head back- they will keep response-push ups like "what? What? Bruh" 🤣

I have an outdoor ovarium that’s bio active in the large blue like 50 gallon tub and I have a number of very very very small toads from this year in there and I also have as of last night a handful of small green frogs and two small bullfrogs and one medium size bullfrog and I’m debating which ones I should keep and which ones would be the easiest to care for I’m in Wisconsin so I know that for part of the year they’re going to go and hibernate regardless but I’m just Curious cause I’ve been watching you for a long time and even when I had a different KZbin name I was commenting on you couple years ago and I trust you a lot and I was actually going to recommend a video of the idiot dude getting bit by the water moccasin the other day and my first thought when that happened was that would never happen To Noah and I also have been unable to find any garter snakes due to there being so many holes and cut down Shoua I live in central southern Wisconsin and the whole area is marshland that they are building out and they’ve cut down all the reeds and you can see countless snake holes and everything and rodent holes and there’s a spring by my house but the problem is there’s also muskrats and beavers and they dig holes and they are every few feet and then when there’s not those animals there’s groundhogs and they’re digging holes in the land so everything is overgrownAnd the only place I’ve been able to find a garter snake has been at a park that I don’t have access to unless I had a ride and I don’t right now because my car smash even though I have a massive dirty open construction site that stretches like a mile in my backyard that’s overgrown with elephants here it’s so thick that I don’t know how to go in there and find anything so if you could give me some advice on her being very sick areas in particularly less warm areas because Wisconsin as a fact that doesn’t have a lot of snakes they’re just few and far between and I have a bunch of boards and stuff out for flipping but I’m trying to avoid flipping them before fall which for us is like two weeks but everywhere has a whole snake hole that is I am talk to text that’s why it’s kind of funny what I’m saying but I trust you with your knowledge and that you would think that man was an idiot who ran up and grabbed the cottonmouth thinking it was Florida banded after looking at it in the dark for 1.2 seconds as it’s slithered across the road and even through that I can tail and then I bet Adam and missed and had the distinct viper fangs flying around and he still didn’t realize and then it bit him again and then he realized lol idiot
