I can't believe this channel doesn't have twenty times the followers....such good content!

Oh thank you so much! I don't think I'm an algorithm guru like other channels so I just keep making videos I enjoy creating and filming. Maybe some day it will grow at a better rate but I really appreciate everyone that subscribes and interacts on here. It's become a tight little community.

Ha ha this was sooo good. Might be my favorite ever! You have a talent for extracting many emotions in one video. ❤

Oh thanks! I try to recreate the vibe of what we were feeling at the time of filming each scene. This one was all over the place ha ha.

Also the dynamic between you two and buddy is quite hilarious and beautiful. Nikki wanted nothing to do with your struggle ha ha ha!

Seriously though! She straight up went rogue on us ha ha

Great video, super fun to watch. Bacon, dog in a crate, single track, fly fishing, this one had it all. Love the show.

Thanks man! We were just watching you on the cross VT trail doing some camping under that bridge. That's a Rugged night of rest for sure. Have you checked out the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail? I think you'd dig it.
@TravelingThru222 Жыл бұрын
Ha, thanks for checking me out. I have looked into the Lamoille many times, I just never seem to get that fr north to do it. Its a trail that has been on the list for a long time. I wouldn't mind getting back up there soon.@@ThatMountainMoment

It's well worth it man. We were fortunate enough to ride it this year before the flooding took out a lot of it but they've almost got it fixed up.

Another great adventure; another great video. Are the switchbacks in the town of Iceland, Vermont? 😊
@ThatMountainMoment Жыл бұрын
Ha ha yes Iceland,VT right next door to Jamaica lol
@lisaoconnor1854 Жыл бұрын
The switchbacks looked like Peru or somewhere. Buddy thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip haha The elevations are definitely deceiving there. Even the sides of Jamaica State Park go STRAIGHT up

That dam area felt like a different country.

This is precisely why my 1 bike is a lightweight hardtail with fast 2.2" cross-country tires. Jack-of-all-trades... thanks!
@ThatMountainMoment6 ай бұрын
Yes! Same reason we have 2.2 inch tires on the gravel bikes and the bikes we chose are similar to mtb geometry. You never know what a route can bring for terrain around here.

Buddy is just like "I don't know what you two are complaining about, I'm having the time of my life" 😂 Really great video!

I genuinely laugh out loudly several times during all your videos. Not a common occurrence on gravel biking and bikepacking videos. So thank you for that 😂 Always amazes me how many incredibly beautiful natural spots there are around Vermont. Just exploring and and seeing what's around the next corner.

Ha ha, he always looks indifferent to any struggle we're having.

Laughter and banter is what makes a ride or trip memorable. All those little emotive moments add up to a full experience. I think we as humans tend to put such weight and seriousness on things that should otherwise be fun. I used to be like that myself and sometimes it still gets the better of me.

I used to camp quite a bit in Jamaica state park. I can tell you that the water level above the dam at Ball lake is very low in this video. When the water level is higher it is quite beautiful. In the early fall they open the dam and kayakers from all over come to run the rapids. It’s very exciting to watch.
@ThatMountainMoment6 ай бұрын
Oh I bet that was super exciting. I can picture it with more water looking much more lush. Jamaica is one of my favorite parts of Vermont. Do you live in VT?

I am binge watching a bunch of you videos while at home sick. One suggestion for you, use some split pipe insulation and zip ties to pad the edge of the milk crate for Buddy. I have seen other riders do this with boxes or crates when carrying their dogs. Just a little added protection to keep from bashing his little jaw on the rough stuff. Hope you see this. Awesome videos BTW

Thank you! So glad you enjoy them. Great suggestion btw!
