What size and brand is the round loom you're using?

I just came out with a video today on converting needle patterns to the loom. It also talks about changing yarns and changing looms. A sort of peek behind the curtain on how I convert. kzbin.info/www/bejne/infJmWOXpdmNnLM

I'm really new to loom knitting. Your videos are very helpful, thank you. A question. You keep talking about loom guage. How do I know what guage my loom is?

That was so awesome!!!! But, I have some questions: 1. I don't have a all-n-one but I have do have the 28 Kb loom, I know the gauge is different, how do I convert to this size? 2. The round loom which brand was that? I have the ones that are Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue which would be the correct color? 3. When you're doing the Blanket Stitch were you changing colors up the sides or not? If yes, how did you do that? Again, Thank You for all that you do! Blessings Always, Susan

Susan Harris thanks! Great questions. 1. Cast on 17 pegs and work main stitch pattern for 4 inches in the yarn you'll use on the project. Bind off or take off loom with stitch holder (scrap yarn will do). Measure how many stitches per inch you get. Best if measure 4" and divide by 4 for the most accurate number. If you measure to three that's fine as well but divide by the number you measure. Then multiply the stitches per inch number you get TIMES (or BY) the width you want the cushion. Round up to the nearest odd number. That will be your cast on number of stitches. 2. That loom is the 48 peg Knifty Knitter Adult Hat loom. It is no longer made but had the right gauge I needed for samples. HOWEVER, DO NOT use this loom for the cushion unless you want a cushion that is 13" or less in width. 3. I used the same blue color the entire way around the seam. I hope that helps you and anyone else wanting to know. Great questions! I do talk about the measuring part at length in the video if you want more tips I may have left out but this should get you where you want to go. -Krista
