It’s a beautiful pattern. After the third try I finally figured out 2 things: Cast a lot of extra peg as this knit shrinks, second always finish with purl and then knit - this ensures that both sides look the same.

I finished the torso part of the sweater but unfortunately the loom i used the pegs are small and spread apart quite a bit so didnt turn out so good, so im just using a mermaid stitch instead (: but i think the chinese wave is great for making blankets on round looms or the kind your using, so thx! (:

Started this last night and by morning I realized that I'm doing it on a 41 peg loom and it's not the beautiful knit that it should be. Keep in mind that this is not a project pattern- it’s a stitch pattern. To have the same edges, add your own. I usually like to do two simple knits but to keep fabric from curling a garter or seed edge works GREAT 😊

Can anyone please tell me, are the two extra stitches (one at each end) NEVER worked, or is it just the cast-on end? I'm a little confused as to how many stitches to cast on exactly... #ETA: Ok, I have re-watched the video - the 2 'anchor' stitches (one at each end) are NEVER worked, so it's an odd number of stitches, PLUS the 2 anchor ones?
