Love the pattern but not sure how to cast on and cast off for it...I'm still rather new to loom knitting.
@LoomaHat5 жыл бұрын
Hi Theresa - this is a stitch pattern and not a project. Stitch patterns don’t determine how you start or finish - hats and blankets are not started or finished the same way. Here is a video to better explain kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4jNhGptr7uXl9k

@@LoomaHat Thank you for the clarification! I love the look exactly as you worked it in this video though, would make a great light scarf. Is it the standard cast on that you show in the video you linked?

I just started loom knitting about a week ago and I have learned 85% - 90% of what I know from this channel. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and I love that you verbally explain what's going on. I also appreciate the clear camera angle so we can see what your hands, the knit tool and the yarn are doing. I have learned so much in just a week from taking notes on your tutorials! I'm excited to see where this knitting adventure takes me.

Beautiful pattern. I understand everything except the two pegs that are at the end with stitch markers. you show at the end of the k2tog that one is a unwrap and the last one is a purl. Is this true for every time that I come to these 2 stitches?

To make a baby blanket with this stitch pattern, how many pegs would you need to cast on (i.e. even number, odd number, multiples of something, etc.)? Thank you!

What do you mean when you say “do your edges for the first 2 pegs that have the stitch markers on them.
@LoomaHat5 жыл бұрын
Hi Iteria - keep in mind that this is a stitch pattern and not a project. How you start, finish and you edges are determined by what you decide to make with the stitch. I’m showing you the edges I used just to balance the stitch. You do the edges that work for your project, blanket. Some don’t even need edges like a hat or a purse kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4jNhGptr7uXl9k

Can this be done in the round?
@LoomaHat Жыл бұрын
All stitches can be done in the round but not all stitches patterns will translate from flat to in the round. It’s been a bit since I did this one so I don’t remember if it’s the same both ways. The written pattern includes both. Loomahat.store

Quick question - I tried using this stitch for a scarf and after awhile it became apparent that it's knitting at an angle. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue? I'm an experienced loom knitter so it's not my tension.
@LoomaHat5 жыл бұрын
Are you slipping the first stitch?
@suesabers37905 жыл бұрын
No-I followed your video and used the same one peg at the start & two at the end. Not sure if it's the different yarns? I'm using a magic ball of scraps.
@LoomaHat5 жыл бұрын
My question is - are you skipping ( not knitting ) the first peg when you turn?
