Im starting on it IMMEDIATELY. But I'm going to have to order more yarn. I followed all the instructions and notes, plus followed some comments about the boo-boos!!! I used Yarn Gauge 5 in Blue, and the tassels were made in gold color yarn, and my daughter loved that combination!!! Now I am planning to do a Table Runner for her using the same pattern, just 24 inches wide, but same length!!! Thanks for your marvelous teaching, you are UNIQUE, God Bless, guide and protect you so you can give us more of this wonderful tutorials with patterns!!!! Just one comment- That "Hook with lever thing" is called a Latch Tool, and it is used to make carpets, but years ago, it came as part of the tools that were included with the Flat Bed Knitting machines from Brother, Singer, Passap and others.

Sometimes i see your videos and think: this is it! I'm going to break out my looms, again, for this. Lol The tweedy hometown looks lovely for this blanket but i know what my early loomed hats - made with hometown - look like now so i would be afraid it would get murdered. Ha. Honestly, though, i just like listening to and watching you loom. It helps me forget how little yarn time I've had lately. :/ P.s. true story - i have this exact loom. I started to use it, one time. Worked about three or four rows of a pink baby blanket, approx 9 years ago. And that thing is still sitting on that loom, literally collecting dust. I need to make some decisions. Lol Although I'm determined that THIS is the year to work on all of my UFOs!

Hi - WELCOME, welcome to the family. Knitting times are very personal - based on so many variables. I would say, if you're new to the hobby and you want to take on a large project like a blanket - don't do it if time is of concern. Instead start with smaller projects like hats and/or washcloths to get a notion of how long it takes you to knit a project. I would hate to discourage you in any way.

@LoomaHat2 ай бұрын
You can use the #4 medium weight depending on the knitting loom gauge. With the S-loom (or any large gauge loom), using the eWrap version of the knit stitch with #4 yarn will give you large holes. You would need to change the knit stitch to a Uwrap, a Flat or a classic. Here is a video to explain the four versions kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnbclpqvrrCoaqc . When you find a pattern you like, it's always best to follow the supply list, as close as possible.

I kept looking online to get an answer to that question, like why hasn’t it begun to drop or hang yet. After watching your video I realized I did (E-w) around the entire loom 30+ times and neglected a Pearl stitch entirely 😑⚰️ so based off your video I need to take it off and redo 🤦🏽♀️ I also need to buy more yarn as I’ve wasted it making this grave error 😂 at least I am hoping this is why the blanket never dropped.

So instead of taking it out on the video creator, and sounding flippant about it, maybe ask some specific questions or ask for suggestions on where to find the info you need. We were all beginners at one time. But not every video or project is appropriate for beginners. Nor should they be. Some day, if you keep at it, overly simple videos will be boring to you because they are geared for beginners. Your comment comes across as accusatory, as though it is Denise's fault that you can't follow it. You'll catch more flies with honey. How you approach seeking help from others will impact the quality of help you receive, which will in turn impact how well you are taught. If you are a true beginner, get acquainted with the process and the basic stitches before tackling a big project. The bonus is: the more you know before trying this, the better you'll be able to ask for help if you still need it. But, to that end, Denise has other, very beginner- friendly, projects.
