And the best part is that non of these are time lapses. So we get a better understanding of what going in there. Thanks ❤️

FINALLY, a tutorial on how to draw heads looking up that is actually HELPFUL!

Loving this series. Your comments really help explain Loomis. Especially when you continue the lines from one face to the next. Regarding the negative people, they are really talking about themselves. Smart people say thank you when they receive the gift of free lessons. You well deserve the 100k likes

I've been trying to learn the Loomis method for YEARS...is definately not for beginners like everyone keeps saying in all art forums. This live demonstrations are great because I can finally understand and see what goes where and how to do it. Thank you so much, please keep posting more Loomis' lessons!

This video was exactly what I was looking for. You were the only one who drew the head clearly enough in an extreme position facing forward and looking up. I was having trouble visualizing the angled side of the chin as the head tilted back. This video completely cleared up that issue! THANK YOU!!!!

Loomis method is really hard but at the same time very beneficial . Many will be frustrated at the first time when they implement the Loomis method but be patient and draw more when you catch the idea , when you understand what was in the idea that Loomis presented in his books then you have a treasure which no one has .

You are such a generous artist. I have the Loomis method books but sometimes I feel stuck and then I found your channel and your have helped me so much to understand what to do when I feel the book isn't clear enough. Thank you so much for this.

that's so cool! I bought the book and it sat on my shelf for a looooong time before I went in it to draw from it lol

@@bradwynn Seriously? Oh my god, I bought it and got crazy thinking that I should draw all heads straight on. Is it okay if I study more fundamentals before drawing the heads on the book?

When it comes to faces, I feel like I suffer so much, particularly when it comes to drawing from multiple angles. Thanks for this great video, I hope to see more face drawing videos from other angles like profile view, 3/4 and that weird obscure angle that's almost a profile angle but you can see the cheek on the other side (idk how to explain it haha)

Draw planes in perspective (circle and square shape in 3d space) stack them to create cubes/cylinders. Draw heads with cubes first and use straight lines. Curved lines and ellipses are too complex. This method is slow at first but you will get good faster in the long run

Hi Bradwynn, you r good! Thank u for teaching us! I can practice your sketching steps quite easily. I have no problem doing colour painting/shading the negatives and highlights of leafs, flowers etc, but to do it on faces to make it look like the real person is the hardest, woof (sigh)! Wishes from Stockholm!

I always thought that for someone looking straight at you the eyes are supposed to be at the exact middle point between top of head and bottom of chin. In this case his eyes are a bit above the middle line. Is that normal to do sometimes?

I know exactly what you mean about these...geometric/trichonomic face angles, they are very tough, & ironically they are NEVER the most flattering angles to draw a model from. And you tend to lose the resemblance of the person, i generally avoid them
