YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Did you reading this know how successful and talented David McCallum (AKA. Ducky) is? He not only managed to accomplish everything from studying music to, working his way up to a Lieutenant in his military. That’s without mentioning TV roles to movies to EVEN video games. Fucking crazy no one ever speaks of his talents. Fucking insane life this man has lived and conquered.

I know how you feel. My local newspaper didn't even mention his birthday, much less his death (yet didn't mind mentioning Adam West's). "ReMind" puzzle magazine the same. Do they hate him because of politics or what? He became an American citizen in '99 and appeared on "Fox News". Does that make him too "right-wing" or something? I met him in Atlanta after a play he was in -"Mouse Trap"- in '76 and "Night Must Fall" in '78 (for Theatre of the Stars). He was very kind, patient, and informative for this impulsive, ADDHA young college student who'd been wild for him since my dad-who had introduced me to him and "MFU" when I was about 11. I didn't even know he was sick til he died. Didn't expect him to live forever, but David almost out-lived me when I almost died of Covid in '20 at 68.

In the early episodes, Jethro would always make his grand entrance in a sports car driven by some unseen sexy lady, does his Yoda schtick and the sports car will appear on cue at the end of the episode and he would be driven off by the (presumably same sexy lady) into the sunset leaving the rest of his crew wondering "Who is that?" and " Where does he go?". It was so bad I never expected it to last the season but thankfully they changed that and it's still running till now.

NCIS has referenced the original versions of Hawaii 5-O & Magnum PI as television series before the crossovers with the new versions of them. The new Hawaii 5-0 also referenced the original Magnum PI which existed in the same continuity as the original Hawaii5-O. NCIS has also referenced MacGyver (presumably the original) "I might have to MacGyver something later." years after the reboot Hawaii 5-0 & reboot MacGyver had their first crossover & within weeks of their second crossover & just a few weeks before NCIS Hawai'i was announced.

The real question is why Pauley first said she was going to remain silent about why she quit as it was no one else's business then does a sudden about face and puts out a, honestly, confusing story about Harmons dog biting someone (a story the crew member in question has said wasn't as bad as pauley insists) Then there are her allegations of bullying and intimidation by Mark Harmon that other cast members don't corroborate. She made herself look like a screeching harpy when she could have just remained professional.

NCIS is one of my favorite TV shows and has been from the beginning. However, as others have pointed out, some of the writing is unrealistic and seems to be somewhat formulaic. For the last several years, I've avoided reruns of episodes from the "Tony DiNozzo" years because he was written as one of the most unrealistic characters on TV. A man that sophomoric, self-centered, and downright annoying, wouldn't last long in a real office of any kind, let alone a _government_ agency. (Real life professional women would either put him in his place or put in official complaints---or, in Kate or Ziva's case, set him straight in no uncertain way!) His replacement, "Nick Torres," also gets away with too much unprofessional behavior. That being said, I still tune in almost every chance I get and I'm disappointed with CBS's current preempting of its reruns. (I'm also amazed at the way they keep coming up with interesting cases and situations.) Stay safe, everyone.

I most likely will not watch the show without Gibbs!!!! It's not going to be the same.... SO, that's it for us here!

NCIS is definitely one of the better shows in the grouping. Gibbs commonly acts like, judge jury and executioner on the show when something doesn’t go his way. Case in point near the end of last season, an individual with diplomatic immunity was going to get away with a crime and Gibbs took him out. Personally don’t like NCIS Los Angeles I find the characters very ignorant it’s not very realistic and when characters do get injured, they miraculously make a speedy recovery even from severe brain`injury. Hawaii Five-0 was much of the same.

I liked Scott Bakuka here too and as Cpt. Archer. I'm not only a David McCallum, "MFU", and "NCIS" fan, but also a Trekkie. I'm glad he showed his musical talent on the show. I haven't seen him in "Quantum Leap", but plan on collecting the DVDs. I'm not watching the re-casted re-boot and would rather see him in a continued "Enterprise" series or movie (with no re-casted re-boot).

Feel sad that David died barely a week after his birthday. He and my dad had some things in common: 1. They were both in the Army: David in the British Army, my dad in the American (but he worked liason w/ British Intelligence. Maybe, that's why he liked 007, "MFU", etc. UNCLE, no doubt dealt with Intelligence, one reason my dad liked the programme he introduced me to, but he also read my Ace books as well. Their fathers were both sr.s, David's dad and my dad-I called Pop, short for Popeye as he was in the Merchant Marines and a boat captain. 3. David's father was a violinist/conductor and my Pop played one, but called it a fiddle. David's dad played his in an album called "The Scottish Fiddle". Pop knew about this record and the musian. My dad also learned to play a violin in h.s.. Later, after I took band in h.s., I chose the oboe. Needless to say, David was far better. My dad-and my mother's brother learned to play Muzzettez to play in the Shrine Oriental Band. 3. David said he had Rheumatic Fever when he was young-and still got in the Army; so did my dad. 4. Both liked to play golf and ride bikes. 5. Both liked computers. Had my dad lived longer, I'm sure he would've owned many by now.

@@kimmac1188 That's too bad. Commercials on TV are annoying enough ("And now, a few words from the program before we get back to the commercials."), without having them interrupt these short videos! What's extra annoying is that they're so often _louder_ than the content. Stay safe.
