Hi there. How to delete tracks using apc40mk2? I also wanted to ask ,if it's possible to trigger a speciffic fx to speciffic colours when hitting record? Thanks for your tutorials.

You can program it to clear tracks if that what you are after and you can enable or disable a specific Fx after recording via a follow on actions…

Thanks for this very instructive lesson .. I have a launchpad pro MK2 but I’m not the same result as you … I don’t no why ! I see in the control setting there lauch pro : launch pad pro live port . Launchpad pro Standalone port and lauchnpad pro MIDI port ! But can not disable the light on the launchpad when a make a new binding .. don’t no what’s happen .. it’s seem no reaction .. no message ! Thanks for this video Leo. I have watched a few videos where people are using the Akai APC40 to control Loopy Pro. Do you know how it compares to the Launchpad Pro?

I went for the Launchpad Pro mk3 but I miss the knobs of the APC40, but then I had too many Akai controllers already to compensate… if i hadn’t all the other Akai controllers I would have gone for the Akai APC4p0, both good products but you have to press more buttons and combinations on the Launchpad, but than again it depends on what you are doing… :)

Is there a way to configure loopy so you can use the LLP note/chord/sequencer modes with it to drive the plugins in the DAW? If not seems pretty limiting to only controlling workflow but not note/instruments?

I’m wondering if using a launchpad with this app is a little duplicative. The iPad itself is already a tactile controller-albeit a flat screen based tactility. But the buttons on a launchpad offer a bit more consistency and confidence when selecting them, I guess. But Loopy Pro is wide open when it comes to customizing its interface. I suppose if you already have a launchpad pro mk3 it’s a no brainer, but I’m not sure buying one just to use with Loopy Pro is worth it.

Yes if you use it as a midi controller for example an AUv3 inside Loopy Pro…

Yes and depending on the implementation and support. Of course you can use the Midi messages from the launchpad and do your own configuration but not all controls may be supported…

Just wish this was for Launchpad Pro ( not the mk version). Mine auto binded the first time now no longer does. Tried make it into Live mode nothing. Great app great demo just me frustrated.
