I'm 72 years old, suffering from jet lag-induced insomnia in Singapore, watching you and grinning from ear to ear. When. I watch you playing with Josh, Elle and Carson, I can't pick a favourite. As when I contemplate my grandchildren, the love I feel is equally divided among you. It just comes in four delicious, different flavours.

I used to build and can definitely appreciate that one. The rosette is gorgeous and it's not easy to get those pieces to inlay that shweet. Sounds GREAT too. It's YOU that make is sing though Toni. A handmade guitar is a step or two above if it's done right but a player that's as good as you... one in a million.

I just heard you and Elle for the first time today, wow, what a gas, everything you do! I have been around quite a few years now, this song channels me back to Leo Kottke and Jorma Kaukonen and that is certainly some elevated company to be in, you seldom see players of that quality these days, I am so glad to see you are here! This piece was masterful and joyous, thanks so much!

Hi Toni , love your new song. and your new guitar sounds amazing. I been playing for over 50 years now about half of that time I was playing professionally . I have done the typical high school rock band which took me in to my 20's . I went from rock to doing solo work to doing a duet playing soft rock to a country band and then finally a jazz band which I must say was way over my head , but it came with a amazing learning curve for me. I always used a pick when playing electric , mostly because I played lead most of the time. My favorite though was playing acoustic and doing finger picking , to which I never used a pick just my own set of nails . Well my own nails kept breaking and after more then a few years I had heard that a few guitar player used acrylic fake nails on their picking hand . So I tried it and they are amazing and gave me a way of keeping my picking hand in a constant state of readiness, instead of having a broken nail and feeling handicapped because of it. I found finger picking my six string a lot of fun for all kinds of music but picking a 12 string is to be honest a blast. You can make a 12 string guitar sound so huge just by picking it is amazing. Anybody can strum a 12 string but picking one you need to have had some skill and a lot of practice. I love your playing but I think you should start picking more without a pick . I assure you it will open up a whole new level of playing that you have been missing. A musician of your skill would have very little trouble becoming proficient at picking and it would like I said just add another tool to use in your writing and arranging your music . I love your new guitar and please keep on playing .
