I love your way of working very wet and letting so many different colors mixing. This is part of your creativity, "let go". that must work as a therapy, accepting you don't have everything under control! And that makes it wonderful!!!

Thank you for sharing with us, and brightening our lives with your knowledge and talents. All of the information tidbits are such a help. Thanks for telling us to USE WHAT WE HAVE! Not having the exact materials for projects has always inhibited my sponaneous nature. i end up never trying the technique because I didn't get to the art store. I didn't do your apple blossoms becasue I didn't have the carmine ink. But the next day, I just grabbed any old nib I had kicking around and did your narcissus with sepia ink and they came out great. Even tho my lines were thicker than yours and were brown, it gave my work a unique look. So now I will just do the apple blossoms with whatever ink I have! You're the best!

Thats fantastic to hear ! We often trip ourselves up or use various procrastination methods to NOT paint. Its the ego part of your brains trying to keep us 'safe' But in order to grow and be fully creative we have to stretch ourselves. I'm proud of you & yay!!!

Thank you so much for this very seasonal video. We currently have loads of forget me note so I’ll be able to go and pick some to paint from. Your guidance is so very helpful. I joined skillshare over a year ago purely to access your lessons there. It will be lovely to see more of you here on youtube as well 🤗

Just wondering what colours you like using in these? Love watching you on Skillshare too
@OhnMarWinArt2 жыл бұрын
Glad you like them! Its a mixture of cyans and turquoise with green gold and paynes grey by W&N. But please dont think you need the exact shades as its more to do with painting intuitively.

Hi Ohn Mar! I so enjoyed this video. I do want to keep a flower sketchbook this spring and summer. The question I have has to do with the scanning process. Since you are working over 2 pages in a vertical aspect, and the sketchbook looks to be A5 (6"x8" approx) the scanner bed is likely not long enough to scan the entire length of the painting. How do you handle this problem when you scan it in order to import it into Photoshop? Or do you take a photo with your phone instead of scanning it? Thanks!!

Wonderful Ohn Mar!! Can you share what the big chunky brush is?
@OhnMarWinArt2 жыл бұрын
Yes I can. It was the Winsor & Newton Quill brush in medium. I have updated with a list of my materials in video description.
