In 'Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye may', 'rosebuds' is simply a plural, not a possesive . The painting is lovely, though. Thank you for all the helpful tutorials, Andrew. I especially like those disappearing edges. You are so good at that!

Thank you SOO much, this is the best and best fun I have come across. The roses are beautiful, and I managed this painting, following along far more effective than all the little bit paintings. with appreciation, Just Loved it.

Hi Andrew ……this painting and video are really lovely and gentle. Along with the music I could listen many, many times. The gold ochre is just so beautiful. I immediately thought of Daniel Smith but there are other makers of the same color name. Would you share the brand?

This is connecting the dots of the drop color I started doing over 4 years ago! I lost my mother in 2015 and stopped socializing at all. Couldn’t speak my grief out loud and so started painting. But nothing would come to me as one of those aha moments. So I bought the supplies and started using color intuitively. I would spray the page with water and drop the pigment on the paper in the colors that were pleasing to me. Colors that made sense to only me in that moment. Then I started to see patterns in the way the color would dry. Some were muddy messes and I learned to not use those colors together again unless that was my desired effect. Lately, The tutorials I’ve been doing have more meaning bc of the davinci eye app I purchased they the apple store. I need to get the shape and form right so I have something to follow until I get it where I want it. Then I saw your videos today. Now I know how to combine what I was doing with color drop or as I named it, khaos kholor. Your style is what came to mind for me a a long time ago. But there’s this unspoken command I seem to follow naturally that demands that I not do what my intuition suggests. I keep waiting for permission to try even one of my ideas but come across someone s work that is almost exactly what I’m visualizing in my head. Like minds think alike?…I think the saying goes? Now…I’ve just got to get down muscle memory and hand eye coordination so that I can go through my photos of florals I’ve taken while out Uber ing around Portland and really get going on something people will want to buy from me. You’ve bridged the gap from where I started o out to the styles I’ve been following and will continue to follow. My world is beginning to make sense again.
